Dr Rajan Saxena is the Vice Chancellor & Distinguished Professor of Marketing at NMIMS University. Dr Saxena is a widely respected management educator and administrator with over 38 years of professional experience in management education, research, consulting and institution building. In his leadership, NMIMS was recently accredited by NAAC with high 3.59 CGPA and highest A+ Grade.

Dr Saxena has also served as the Director of IIM Indore and S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) Mumbai. Dr Saxena is an alumnus of Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi. He did his Ph.D. at Delhi School of Economics in the Marketing area and was Awarded the Ph. D. by Delhi University. Dr Saxena has also taught at IIM Calcutta, XLRI Jamshedpur, University of Calgary, Canada and University of Sterling, UK.

In last 37 years, NMIMS has grown to become not only one of the top-10 B-schools in India but has also emerged as a multi-disciplinary University with 6 campuses at Mumbai, Shirpur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Indore and Navi Mumbai and 14 constituent schools.
