IMC 2014 Theme - MBA EDU 3.0: Envisioning the Future: Read Theme Paper, Watch Keynote Addresses

The theme for 5th Indian Management Conclave 2014 is “Envisioning the future of Indian MBA education.”

Unless one knows where we ought to be going, how will we ever get there! So do we know where Indian management education should be headed? And why? Unfortunately, we don’t have a Shared Vision for the Future of Indian MBA education – a vision that policy-makers, institution heads, corporates and other stakeholders have buy-in.

Towards building a consensus for the Future, at this 2014 conference, EPS & MBAUniverse.com are releasing a discussion paper titled Vision 2025 for Indian Management Education. Based on the inputs from various International and national speakers and participants at the conference, this discussion paper will be finalized as EPS-MBAUniverse.com Vision 2025 for Indian Management Education, and will be shared with Ministry of HRD and other stakeholders by August 25.

The Vision 2025 Document, printed in the document, examines the history, progress and current state of Indian management education. There are also recommendations to improve the current state of affairs in the next ten years by taking policy measures which are aligned with the Government of India’s National Vision & Priorities. We are confident that the Vision 2025 shall be reviewed, analyzed and adopted by policy makers and thus, become an instrument of change. We are also hopeful that B-schools will adopt the recommendations and proactively work with the Government bodies to usher in the change.

IMC 2014 will host 40 speakers from 10 countries, who will discuss the various facets of Vision 2025 recommendations. We also invite our distinguished participants to share their feedback and ideas to make Vision 2025 more robust.

Indeed, Vision 2025 will indeed be an unprecedented initiative to co-create our future.
To recognize the Best-practices in Curriculum, Pedagogy & Industry-engagement in Indian Management Education, IMC 2014 will also host 2nd IMC Awards.
