IMC Distinguished Alumni Awards

Background
The IMC Distinguished Alumni Awards (IMC DAA) were instituted in 2015, during the 6th Indian Management Conclave hosted at ISB Hyderabad, as part of IMC's broader vision to celebrate the contributions of Indian management education to national and global business leadership.

IMC believes that the success of B-school alumni is the most authentic representation of the value of Indian management education. Alumni outcomes, measured by leadership impact, organisational excellence, and societal contribution, are the truest barometer of educational impact. Every year, the IMC Distinguished Alumni Award (IMC DAA) is presented to outstanding business leaders who:

• Graduated from an Indian business school
• Are now creating international and national leadership and global impact
• Serve organisations that exemplify the highest values and integrity

These leaders carry the legacy of their alma mater, and their journeys inspire the next generation of MBA aspirants and B-school faculty alike.

Selection Criteria
Recipients of the IMC Distinguished Alumni Award are evaluated on three core dimensions:

1. Excellence in Management & Business Practice: The leaders must have demonstrated sustained excellence across their career trajectory and currently occupy roles of significant leadership responsibility at the level of CEO, MD, CFO, President, or equivalent.
2. Serving Organisations of Highest Integrity: Awardees must be associated with exemplary organisations that stand for the highest standards of ethics, values, governance, and stakeholder responsibility.
3. National Leadership and Global Impact: Awardees must be recognised as leaders of national stature in India, and their organisations must also be creating an impact on global management thinking and business practice.
