M Damodaran, R C Bhargava to address AIMA Convocation

Mr. M. Damodaran, Former Chairman-SEBI and Mr. R C Bhargava, Chairman, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd & IIM, Ranchi, will deliver the Convocation Address and Key Note Address respectively at 15th Convocation of AIMA Centre for Management Education.

AIMA-Kewal Nohria Award for Academic Leadership in Management Education -2010 will be conferred to recognize the professional experience and academic achievement.
The 15th Convocation of AIMA Centre for Management Education will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Centre (IHC), Lodhi Road. Mr. M. Damodaran, Former Chairman-SEBI and Mr. R C Bhargava, Chairman, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd & IIM, Ranchi, will deliver the Convocation Address and Key Note Address respectively.
1191 students will be conferred Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), 111 students will be conferred Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology and Management (PGDITM) and 185 students will be conferred Post Graduate Certificate in Management (PGCM) in the areas of Marketing, Finance, HRD, Retail, International Business and Pharmaceutical Marketing.
Gold Medals and Merit Certificates will be awarded to 6 students for their outstanding performance.
Also, AIMA will felicitate 13 PhD awardees (PhD programme offered in collaboration with a Central University). While Fellowship will be conferred on Mr Radhey Shyam Sharma, Chairman and MD-ONGC, Mr Amarendra Mahapatra, Director-Personnel, MMTC Ltd, Mr Anand Kumar, Director (R&D), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, Mr Ramesh Chandra Shrivastav, Former Director-HR, NTPC Ltd, and Mr Kishan Ram Arya, Director General, NIESBUD.
“AIMA-Kewal Nohria Award for Academic Leadership in Management Education -2010” will be conferred to recognize the professional experience and academic achievement of an individual in the area of Management education. The first award for Academic Leadership in Management Education was conferred upon Dr Pritam Singh in 2009.
