ATMA is conducted by Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS), as a credible, comprehensive and single-window test for admissions to different postgraduate management programmes. ATMA has been approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India for admission on All India Basis to the MBA / PGDM and other Postgraduate Programmes like MCA depending on the regulations of the respective universities.

 

ATMA is conducted both as online computer based test and paper based test in different months in the year. It is a 3 hours test and the test duration is from 2PM to 5PM. In 2017, ATMA was conducted on February 12, May 28, June 25, July 23 and August 6 (Online test). The test result of online ATMA exam held on August 6 was declared on August 9. Unless any change is announced, AIMS propose to conduct ATMA in the same pattern in 2018 also. 

 

The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS), established in 1988, is a large network of management institutions in the world, with over 730 members including IIMs, ISB, Xavier Institutes, Welingkar, MDI, S P Jain, ICFAI, NMIMS and other top Indian business schools. ATMA exam was launched in 2000 with a view to meet the standard of quality MBA entrance test, the scores of which would be used in the admission process as a reliable predictor of academic performance in post graduate management programmes. 

 

ATMA is administered in the premises of colleges/institutes/schools or their computer labs. The address of the Test Venue is given on the Admit Card, which is in two pages.
The administration and scoring is professionally done. ATMA scores supplied are dependable indicators of the candidate’s suitability for management education and career. The candidates are supplied with the percentile scores in verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, analyzing and synthesizing ability.

 

ATMA is considered a high quality test, the scores of which can be used in the admission process, as a reliable predictor of academic performance in post graduate management programmes, including functional, sectoral and computer management programmes offered by various institutes/universities. ATMA makes the process of applying, registration, payments, grade cards and selection of center simpler and more efficient.

ATMA 2018 Eligibility & Application process

Eligibility Criteria

  1. ATMA aspirant should be an Indian Citizen
  2. The candidate should possess recognized Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification  under 10+2+3 scheme in ant stream.
  3. Minimum 50% marks in graduation required to appear in the exam.
  4. Those who are in their final year of graduation can also apply.
  5. There is no age bar to appear in ATMA 2018
  6. No work experience is needed to apply and appear in ATMA

ATMA 2018 Exam & Scoring Pattern

ATMA-2018 (MBA) exam will be held in paper pen mode/online mode in one session in the 2nd week of February 2018 from 2PM to 5PM. The exam will consist of (Objective) Multiple Choice type questions. For paper based test, the candidates have to mark the correct answers on the OMR answer sheet using BLUE OR BLACK INK BALL POINT PEN ONLY.

ATMA 2018 Syllabus

The broad outline of syllabus for the AIMS Test for Management admissions (ATMA) for MBA PG Courses is detailed below:

 

There are three major sections in ATMA and each section is further divided into two parts making ATMA 2018 February exam as six section test. Three hours will be allotted to attempt 180 questions in ATMA 2018 test. Each of the six sections will have 30 questions in MCQ format.

 

It is not necessary that order of sections would remain the same. The sequence may change from exam to exam.
