HBS offers Trimester based two-year full time MBA Programme, M. Phil and Ph.D. in management. HBS has the backing of 30 years of experience in quality management education of GITAM University.

HBS follows a learning-centric methodology of teaching. The various methods used include: case analysis, interactive lecture sessions through state of the art audio visual aids, project/research work, assignments, business simulation games, group learning, individual mentoring etc.

The course is recognized by UGC, AICTE and Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. The Specializations offered in MBA are: Banking and International Finance, HRM, International Business, Marketing, and Operations and Supply Chain Management. The number of seats offered for the MBA programs for the academic year 2013-15 is 120.

CAT & MAT Scores accepted

Admission in Hyderabad Business School is through HBSAT-2013. Candidates with valid MAT/GMAT/CAT-2012 scores are exempted from HBSAT-2013.

Candidates who have appeared for HBSAT 2013 or furnished valid CAT/MAT/GMAT score and have applied to HBS will be shortlisted on the basis of information provided in the application form, HBSAT 2013 /CAT-2012 /MAT/GMAT score, educational background, marks in 10th, 12th, graduation and work experience. Only short listed candidates will be called for the final stage of the selection process. Group discussion, personal interview besides other qualitative parameters will constitute the core components of the final stage of the selection process. According to the institute, the objective of the selection process is to assess the candidate’s potential for a managerial career.

Programme Fee:

The Institute awards scholarships to meritorious and deserving candidates and also facilitates the process for obtaining bank loan.

The following fee structure includes books, study material, formal attire and other common facilities. The first installment of the fee is due to be paid at the time of issue of seat allotment letter.

Job is key:

As many as 64 companies visited the campus in the placement season 2013 and recruited all the 60 students in the batch. Average annual salary offered to the batch was Rs. 3.72 lakh while the highest was Rs. 5.25 lakh
