The two-year, full-time, residential Post Graduate Programme at IIM Vishakhapatnam is designed to equip students to take on leadership roles in a rapidly changing global scenario.The Programme lays foundation for conceptual and analytical reasoning, and gives students an insight into the dynamics of the business environment. Guest lectures, by various academicians, industrialists, and eminent personalities, also enrich student experience.

Admissions Process

The admission process at IIM Vishakhapatnam follows a three step process.
Phase 1
The first short list of candidates is based on candidates securing minimum section-wise and aggregate percentile scores in the CAT. Candidates obtaining a positive (greater than zero) raw score in all sections of CAT will only be considered. All candidates in the first shortlist would be receiving an e-mail from IIM Visakhapatnam around second week of April, with a link to a web page where they must reconfirm, their interest to pursue their candidature further by April 23, 2018, for admission to PGP at IIM Visakhapatnam.
Phase 2
Candidates who meet the minimum CAT percentiles requirements, and have reconfirmed their interest, by April 23, 2018 will be considered in Phase 2 of the admission process. The shortlist for further round will be based on various parameters such as CAT Score, Academic performance, Work experience and diversity.
Phase 3
All Phase-2 Shortlisted Candidates will be invited to submit a detailed application, including a statement of purpose, details of semester wise / year wise marks in Bachelors’ degree etc., copies of all academic transcripts & certificates, copies of work experience certificates and other certificates. Only those Phase-2 Shortlisted Candidates, who have submitted the detailed application (including all the required documents) by the due date, will be considered for the personal interview stage in Phase-3.
