SNAP 2017 Exam Pattern

SNAP exam has changed to Online computer based test after a long legacy of remaining a paper pen mode Multiple Choice Questions based examination. The duration of SNAP 2017 exam is 2 hours from 2 PM to 4 PM. 

 

There will be 4 sections in SNAP 2017 and the total maximum marks would be 150 while maximum marks for each section would be as follows

Candidates have the facility to attempt any section in any order within overall allotted time of 2 hours.

 

Negative marking

SNAP 2017 will contain objective type questions. Each question has 4 responses. Candidate should choose an appropriate response. Each wrong answer attracts ¼ negative marks.

 

Since 2016 SNAP has effected substantial changes in the exam pattern. Earlier SNAP used to award maximum weightage of 60 marks to Reasoning section and the total marks for the exam were 180. Now the Maximum total marks are 150 and the weightage to Reasoning section has been reduced to 40 marks.
