IIFT 2016 exam result declared without the score card, GD/PI dates and test answer keys keeps the 1973 shortlisted candidates worried
Actual score card for IIFT 2016 exam will contain your raw & percentile score obtained as well as the sectional cut offs and maximum marks assigned for each section

IIFT 2016 result declared on December 23 does not contain the information how to view and download the score card nor does it mention the dates to conduct GD/PI/WAT in final selection round. Apart from this the answer keys to the IIFT 2016 paper based test for all the sets have not yet been officially published.

All these features used to be present in earlier IIFT result declaration but this year they are missing. This has caused anxiety among the thousands of IIFT test takers who are not sure about their test score and whether they would be able to make it to the final merit list.

IIFT 2016 exam was more or less on the same pattern as that of last year. However, the major difference was change in sectional weightage in the exam. While 48+ marks in IIFT 2016 exam must have been fine to shortlist the candidates for GD/PI round, the tag of 99 percentile would go beyond 68+ marks.

Since most of the IIFT 2016 test takers have also appeared for CAT 2016 and are going to appear in XAT 2017 on January 8, they are waiting for their IIFT 2016 score card to fix the priorities for the right B-school. There are number of such candidates who have been shortlisted by Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) for GD/PI round which is set to begin in January 2017 and also expect to be shortlisted by IIMs on the basis of their performance in CAT 2016.

At present the obvious focus of these candidates is on their IIFT score card and the GDPI dates. There are many such candidates who will also be taking XAT 2017 on January 8 and CMAT 2017 on January 28. These candidates are keeping their fingers crossed that their GD-PI-WAT dates for IIFT admission get a slot after their XAT 2017 and CMAT 2017 are over. As of now they are unable to plan and remain in dark.

Official Answer keys yet to be published
Answer keys for IIFT 2016 exam are yet to be published by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. IIFT publishes answer keys for all question paper sets which the candidates had to appear in. It is expected that official answer keys will be published along with the GD-PI dates in next 3-4 days.

IIFT entrance exam is considered a bit more difficult than any other MBA entrance test like CAT/XAT/SNAP. But despite the difficult and lengthy entrance examination, more and more aspirants  register and apply to grab one of the 360 MBA (IB) seats that IIFT offers. IIFT proposes to offer admission to 360 students to its flagship MBA (IB) 2016-18 programme at Delhi (220 seats) and Kolkata(140 seats) campuses.

Ratio of IIFT aspirants is even higher than the CAT aspirants.  The 1.95 lakh CAT 2016 aspirants compete for 5500 seats in IIMs and at least 20000 in top B-schools, whereas there are about  45000 test takers for 360 seats in IIFT 2016, reflecting the importance of MBA(IB) at Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.

The 100 percent placement record of MBA (IB) students getting high compensation packages makes IIFT more fascinating than any other MBA/PGDM entrance exam.
