The sessions will be held at The Oberoi Hotel in Bangalore and The Taj Mahal Palace & Tower in Mumbai. Each information session will feature a short presentation, followed by a question and answer session.

Inviting prospective students to participate in this ‘contact program’, the institute’s website says: “By these programs you will experience the people and ideas responsible for revolutionizing the business world. Attending a University of Chicago Executive MBA Information Session is the best way to learn more about their program. It’s a chance to meet their staff, and talk with current students and alumni.” GSB holds these sessions all over the world; in Asia, it holds them in places like Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Seoul etc.

Describing the executive MBA program, the official website of Chicago Business Schools says, “An executive MBA program puts you in an environment known for intellectual intensity and world-changing ideas, in a part-time format that fits within the demands of your professional life. During this you can debate and collaborate with accomplished peers and faculty known for its Nobel Prizes. The Chicago GSB Executive MBA Program is intense. It's also exhilarating.”

The GSB was founded in 1898. It is first business school to have a Nobel Laureate as part of its faculty: George Stigler, who was awarded the Nobel in 1982 in Economics. It is also the first business school to have initiated a PhD program on campus.

University of Chicago’s GSB has four permanent campuses in three continents: two in Chicago (North America), one in London (Europe), and one in Singapore (Asia).
