You had been eagerly waiting for the MBA entrance exams announcements. Last month the CAT 2010 notification was issued. Recently some more announcements have been made. The MBAUniverse.com Exam Calendar (http://www.mbauniverse.com/Road-to-cat-2010/Exam_calender_2010.php) has now been updated with the latest announcements. A one stop information center, the calendar provides you the names of prominent institutes participating in a MBA entrance exam, exam dates, application dates, and links to the exam websites.
The latest exam announcements, now available on our exam calendar, are NMAT 2011, JMET 2011 and XAT 2011. For the benefit of our readers we share with you the details of these exams:
NMAT 2011
NMIMS Mumbai has announced that a candidate can attempt the test not once, but thrice. The best of his score will be accepted by NMIMS. The registration for NMAT 2011 will start from Wednesday, September 8, 2011. The test window has been extended for the first time to three months
(http://www.mbauniverse.com/article/id/3524/NMAT-2011-can-be-taken-thrice). The computer-based test will be held from Friday, October 1, 2010 to Friday, December 31, 2010. A candidate can retake the test 15 days after his previous attempt. The result of the test will be declared after four to five weeks of the test.
JMET 2011
JMET 2011 is the entrance exam for the management institutes of IITs. The entrance exam will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2010 (http://www.mbauniverse.com/article.php?id=3534). The registration process starts from Monday, September 6, 2010 and the last date for the same is Friday, October 8, 2010.
XAT 2011
The entrance exam for XLRI Jamshedpur and over 70 MBA institutes, XAT 2011 will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2011 (http://www.mbauniverse.com/article.php?id=3540). The application process has started from Wednesday, September 1, 2010 and the last day to register for XAT 2011 is Tuesday, November 30, 2010.
Other exams previously updated
