CMAT 2014 Results out on March 14; 400+ B-schools to accept scores CMAT 2014 Feb results

The much awaited CMAT 2014 results (CMAT Feb 2014 results) conducted by AICTE for admission to 2014-16 MBA/PGDM that began on February 20, 2014 is expected to be announced on March 14, 2014.

The much awaited CMAT 2014 results (CMAT Feb 2014 results) conducted by AICTE for admission to 2014-16 MBA/PGDM that began on February 20, 2014 is expected to be announced on March 14, 2014. More than 1.2 lakh candidates appeared in this test, making it second most popular MBA entrance test after CAT for IIMs. More than 400 good B schools are going to accept CMAT scores across the country.

Sharing with MBAUniverse.com, AICTE Chairman Dr SS Mantha had informed that “CMAT Feb 2014 has received more than 100,000 registrations for admissions in AICTE approved PGDM B Schools and state universities and the response for CMAT 2014 has indeed been fantastic”.

CMAT is conducted twice a year. First one for admission 2014 was held in September 2013 and the second one from February 20 to 24, 2014. CMAT scores will provide candidates the opportunity to improve as the better of the two scores will be taken into account. Since this was the last All India most prominent management entrance test for admission 2014, candidates must not lose the opportunity of exploring admission possibilities.

Common Management Admission Test or CMAT is conducted by AICTE to facilitate the management education aspirants to grab the opportunity of getting admission to a B school of their choice. Management institutes affiliated to Universities in thirteen states of Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and other private B schools approved by AICTE accept the CMAT scores.

CMAT serves as a good chance for the MBA aspirants who couldn’t fare so well in CAT and XAT to find a good management institute.

CMAT does not disqualify any candidate
The results will rank all the candidates who appeared in the test based on their aptitude towards the management education in the order of their merit. Candidates will not be declared as eliminated from the admission process in the AICTE approved management programme. On the contrary the aim is to facilitate the institutions to select the suitable candidates as per the rank awarded by CMAT.

Test scores of both the tests i.e. 1st and 2nd will remain valid for the admission year 2014-15 and will be accepted by all the AICTE approved institutes.
