CAT 2017 Admit Card Download at 1PM: Don’t delay to login; start now your schedule of activity

IIM Lucknow has suspended the user login activity on CAT 2017 website as the CAT Centre has started the CAT 2017 Admit card releasing activity. CAT Admit card is scheduled to be made available to the successful CAT 2017 applicants on CAT website at 1PM today, October 25, 2017.  Suspending the login activity, IIM Lucknow has shared, “The Login to form will be available only between 09-08-2017 09 Hours 45 Minutes to 24-10-2017 12 Hours 55 Minutes.”

Now you will be able to exercise your user login access to the CAT 2017 website when it is loaded with the CAT Admit cards. IIM Lucknow will allow access to your CAT admit card a few minutes before 1 PM.

While you will be able to view and download your CAT 2017 Admit card at the scheduled time of 1 PM, the activity to view and download the CAT 2017 Admit card on CAT website should be started at least an hour before.

Post closure of CAT 2017 registration process on September 25, resulting in high number of 2.31 lakhs registrations, the CAT admit card issuance date was extended from October 18 to October 25.

Once the CAT 2017 website allows user login activity, you will have to log onto the CAT website with your registered User ID. The change in schedule of issuing the CAT 2017 admit cards although created a bit of anxiety among CAT 2017 aspirants, still a month remains to plan your travel and make other arrangements to take CAT 2017 on November 26, 2017 at the allotted testing venue and time slot.

Activities you should do before 1 PM

• Switch-on your computer/lap top around 12 Noon, an hour before the scheduled time of CAT 2017 Admit card going to be enabled to avoid technical glitches
• Keep logged in to CAT 2017 website with your existing user ID allotted to you by IIM Lucknow (CAT Centre 2017).
• If you have to visit some cyber-café for the purpose, book your slot from 12.15PM to 1.15PM in advance and take hold of the best system equipped with latest browser versions.
• Keep your pen drive with you, if you are going to the cyber-café, so that you could copy your admit card in it and take prints of the same from it.
• Check whether the recommended versions are running well in your system. Ensure that you are using the correct versions of the recommended Internet browsers-Internet Explorer – 7,8,9 version; Mozilla Firefox – 14 to 28; Google Chrome 20 to 33. The best viewed as recommended by CAT Centre 2017 are Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome browsers.
• Check for the updates, FAQs and details with other icons on CAT 2017 site to know about the current status
• Go on refreshing/reloading the CAT 2017 website periodically so that you do not miss any of the updates from CAT Centre 2017.

Get ready at 10 minutes to 1PM
Admit card for CAT 2017 is expected to be enabled about 5-10 minutes before 1PM today as has been the practice, it will be better to view and download it immediately when it is enabled.

Don’t wait! Delay may lead into technical glitches
With 2.31 lakhs of candidates thronging the website simultaneously, even a delay of few minutes in viewing and downloading the CAT 2017 Admit card may result in technical glitches.

Despite it being a very strong site capable to cope with the high volume of CAT 2017 aspirants, it may develop some technical glitches like getting slow, not displaying full details or giving you some error messages. This might create irritation and may cause more anxiety. When you can very well avoid it, there is no need to wait and waste time.

CAT Admit card details: Check & report the error
Your CAT 2017 admit card should contain all the relevant details like your name, Registration/user ID, Test venue, exam slot. If  you are able to timely download the Admit Card and verify all the details like the spelling of your name, you will be able to point out the discrepancy, if any, to the help desk of CAT Centre 2017 so that the due correction can be made.

Admit Card is the foremost requirement prescribed by CAT 2017 conducting IIM Lucknow and without this document, candidate will not be allowed to enter the testing centre. You will have to download, save and carry the hard copy of your CAT 2017 Admit card to the examination centre.

The message from CAT 2017 Convenor and faculty at IIM Lucknow reads, “The Admit card will be available for view and print from Wednesday, 25^th October 2017, 1:00 p.m. onwards. The Admit card will appear only if your online application form is submitted successfully. You will receive an automated email confirmation upon successful submission. You can then log into the CAT website using your registered User ID and view/print the Admit card.” Admit Card for CAT 2017 will be available from October 25, 2017, 1 PM till exam day.
