IIM Indore Integrated Programme in Management (IPM)
Launched by IIM Indore in 2011, the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is the first of its kind in India. It is meant for young students with managerial and leadership aspirations. IPM is aimed at students who have passed out of Class XII/Higher Secondary or equivalent from schools across India.Total number of Seats for IIM Indore IPM are 120 only.


Admissions to IIM Indore IPM is through IPM Aptitude Test popularly known as IPMAT.


IIM Indore IPM is broadly divided into two Phases: 1) First three years of the programme and 2) Last two years. The first three years build a foundation, and the last two years focus on business management.In addition to Class work, IPM students are required to complete a social internship at the end of Year 3, and a business internship between Years 4 and 5. This experiential learning inculcates leadership qualities in them and hones their managerial skills further.


IPMAT is conducted in month of May every year and is an objective type test.


On successful completion of the five-year rigorous academic experience, the participants would be awarded‘Integrated Diploma in Management’ by IIM Indore. A Study Centre and an Examination Centre of Indira Gandhi National Open University have been opened at IIM Indore to facilitate the students to get a bachelor’s degree.


With the passage of IIM Bill 2017, it is expected that IIM Indore will be able to offer a BBA and MBA Degree to a candidate, giving a further boost to the program.


The course fee for resident Indians for the first three years of the IPM would be Rs. 4,00,000per annum. Course fee for the fourth and fifth years would be as per prevailing Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) fees. The fee for PGP 2017-19 at IIM Indore is Rs 15,00,000. The course fee includes accommodation/lodging, access to lectures, computer facilities and library.


Admission Selection Process through IPMAT
The students undergo a rigorous selection process for getting into IIM Indore IPM:

  • Application: An application form aimed at understanding the students’ proficiency in academics, as well as in co-curricular activities is filled up by the aspirant.
  • Entrance Exam IPMAT: An entrance examination follows, to test the applicant’s aptitude, logical reasoning and proficiency in English and Mathematics.
  • Personal Interview:Shortlisted candidates appear for personal interviews. The interview judges the students’ level of confidence, communication skills, general awareness, persuasion skills and knowledge.
  • Final Admission: Best 120 candidates are granted admission to this prestigious course.

Application Process for IIM Indore IPM is expected to open on March 16, 2018. Entrance exam IPMAT is expected to be held on May 16, 2017.

IIM Indore IPM Entrance Test is an Aptitude Test which requires good IQ and Time Management skill to crack it with high score. Following exam taking tips will help you to improve your score and crack the entrance exam:


Verbal Ability Section
In the Verbal Ability section first of all attempt the questions based on idioms and phrases, vocabulary, fill in the blanks. Complete the doable questions in 10-15 minutes. You need to solve around 15 such questions with accuracy. You can attempt these questions in first attempt as no guess work is required.
