IPMAT Exam Analysis 2025: IPMAT 2025 exam was conducted by IIM Indore on May 12, 2025 from 2.00-4.00 PM. IPM aspirants have expressed mixed reactions about the exam. The surprise of this year’s IPMAT paper was Quantitative Aptitude MCQ section, which had very few Arithmetic questions, but many questions from geometry questions. While many students found the overall paper of moderate difficulty level, the Quantitative Aptitude MCQ section was difficult and time consuming. Another surprise in IPMAT 2025 analysis was that Verbal Ability section had three RCs instead of two RCs. 1. IPMAT Exam Analysis 2025: Paper Pattern

IPMAT 2025 exam paper pattern had questions from three sections: Quantitative Aptitude (SA), Quantitative Aptitude (MCQ) and Verbal Ability. IPMAT 2025 exam pattern is given below.

According to students who took the exam, this section was relatively easy. 

4. IPMAT Exam Analysis 2025: Quantitative Aptitude MCQs Section

This section was relatively difficult. There were only 2 questions from Arithmetic section. However, there were 4 questions from Geometry. This was the surprise section in the exam.

  • Weightage of IPMAT Aptitute Test Score (ATS) = 65%

Quantitative Ability (SA)

The Parajumble questions were in TITA form, and they were confusing. The Para completions questions also had confusing options. The vocabulary and Grammar sections were easy.
