JIPMAT full form is Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test. JIPMAT 2026 Exam Conducting Body is National Testing Agency (NTA). Like IIM Indore IPMAT 2026 and IIM Rohtak IPMAT 2026, JIPMAT is a national level BBA Entrance Exam for admission to 5 year IPM programs offered by IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. While last year, JIPMAT 2025 exam was held on April 26, 2025, JIPMAT 2026 exam is delayed. JIPMAT 2026 exam date is first week of May 2026 (expected). Check JIPMAT exam dates in the table below.

To be eligible for JIPMAT exam, candidates should fulfil the following JIPMAT 2026 eligibility criteria:

• Candidates should pass the Class 12 examination in any stream or equivalent with a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate (55 per cent for candidates from SC/ST/PwD) or more in the year 2024, 2025 or appearing in 2026.
• The candidates should have passed the Class 10 examination with a minimum 60 per cent aggregate (55 per cent for candidates from SC/ST/PwD) or more in the year, not before 2022

JIPMAT 2026 exam pattern comprises of 100 questions divided into three sections: Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC). Total exam duration is 150 minutes. NTA will release JIPMAT Admit Card 2026 a few days before exam. JIPMAT Admit Card 2026 is also known as JIPMAT Hall Ticket 2026. With just days to go for JIPMAT 2026, it's time to shift from learning new topics to revising smartly and optimizing your test strategy. Here are some essential JIPMAT last minute tips to help you excel on exam day:

• Revise important concepts. Focus on key topics in Quant, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability. Don’t try to cover everything—prioritize what you already know.
• Practice with mock tests. Attempt 1–2 full-length mock tests to simulate exam conditions. Analyze your performance and refine your time management.
• Strengthen shortcuts and formulas. Go through quick tricks and formulas, especially for Arithmetic and Data Interpretation, to save time in the exam.
• Avoid new topics. Don’t start anything new now—it might cause confusion. Use your time to reinforce strong areas.

• Stay calm and positive. Get enough sleep, eat light, and stay relaxed. A calm mind can make a big difference on the test day.

To ensure a smooth and stress-free experience on exam day, candidates must follow the prescribed JIPMAT exam guidelines issued by NTA. Check details below:  

• Carry your Admit Card to enter JIPMAT exam centre. A candidate who does not possess the valid Admit Card shall not be allowed to enter the Examination centre
• Carry one passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the attendance sheet at the Centre during the Examination
• Carry any one of the original authorized Govt. photo IDs like PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (with photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card.
• Carry PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming relaxation/facitlity under PwD category at Exam Centre
• Do not carry any material listed in the list of prohibited material like any baggage, calculators, mobile phone, electronic watch with calculator, electronic car key or any other prohibited electronic gadget inside the Examination Centre
• Report at the Examination Centre at the time mentioned on the Admit Card so as to avoid crowding at the Examination Centre. No Candidate will be permitted to enter in the Examination Centre after reporting time
• Follow the instructions given by the invigilators and staff at all times. Any unfair means or misbehavior can lead to disqualification.

Overall and sectional JIPMAT cut offs as applied category wise last year by IIM Bodhgaya and IIM Jammu are as below:

After evaluating all other parameters which includes Profile Rating based on 10th and 12th score, Gender Profile, Personal Interview apart from JIPMAT cut offs, IIMs will prepare their own final merit list awarding weightage to all admission components. Both IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya have their own IPM admission policy. The weightage in final selection to key selection components are as under:

• Difficulty level was similar to previous JIPMAT papers
• The paper consisted of 100 questions across 3 sections.
• Quantitative Aptitude had 33 questions.
• Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning had 33 questions
• Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension had 34 questions.
• The duration of the test was 150 min
• Every correct answer would fetch 4 marks, and every wrong answer would attract a penalty of 1 mark.

a) Quantitative Aptitude
There were a total of 33 questions in this section. Most questions were based on basic conceptual knowledge. The questions in this section ranged from easy to moderate in difficulty level. Good Attempts: 28-29 questions with 85%+ accuracy will get you Score of 97+ in this section. The approximate breakup of 33 questions is as follows

b) Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
There were a total of 33 questions in this section. The questions in this section were easy.  This section was very similar to 2023 and 2024 papers. There were a total of 34 questions in this section. The RC passage was slightly tricker. The questions in this section were easy. A good attempt in this section is more than 31 questions with 85%+ accuracy, and a good score would be 108+. The approximate breakup of 33 questions is as follows.
