TG ICET 2025: Exam Date (June 8 and 9), Registrations (Closed), Pattern, Preparation

TG ICET full form is Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test. TGICET Exam 2025 is the entrance exam for MBA and MCA  Program of all Universities in Telangana State. TGICET exam 2025 is being conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda, on behalf of Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE). 

TG ICET 2025 is a computer-based test having a total of 200 MCQs from three different sections testing Analytical Ability, Communication Ability and Mathematical Ability. TG ICET 2025 exam duration is 2.5 hours (150 minutes). TG ICET 2025 exam date is June 8 and 9, 2025.

The TSICET 2025 exam offers admission to MBA and other PG courses offered by various MBA colleges and universities in Telangana. Below are the TSICET important dates as released by Kakatiya University for all the activities till the final admission process as under:

TGICET eligibility criteria for MBA admission 2025 is as below:  

• Candidate should be an Indian National and should satisfy local status requirements as laid down in different Government Orders of Higher Education Department of Telangana and its amendments from time to time.  
• The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned under vogue.  
• The candidate should satisfy Local / Unreserved status requirements as specified in Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations and Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended, read with G.O. Ms. No. 15, Higher Education (TE) Department, Dated: 27-02-2025. 
• The candidates who have passed any Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply (The candidates are advised to read the Eligibility Criteria for admission into MBA and MCA programme as shown in the Para e).  

The Eligibility Criteria for admission into MBA and MCA programmes – 

1. Master of Business Administration (MBA): The candidate should have passed a Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration (B.A/ B.Com/ B.Sc/ BBA/ BBM/ BCA/ BE/ B.Tech./ B. Pharmacy/ any 3 or 4 year Degree except Oriental Languages).   
2. Master of Computer Applications (MCA): The candidate should have passed BCA/ B. Sc/ B.Com/ B.A with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level or at graduation level.  
3. The qualifying Degree obtained under Distance Mode Program/ Open Distance Learning (ODL) should have recognition by Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/ DEB as per UGC Regulations of 2013 and 2020.  
4. The candidate must secure a minimum of 50% marks in case of unreserved and 45% marks for reserved categories i.e., SC / ST/ BC in the qualifying Degree or its equivalent examination.  
5. The minimum age of the candidates should be 19 years as on the date of notification. No upper age limit.

• Create user ID at the TG ICET 2025 Registration window
• After TS ICET Registration with personal details, Login to enter particulars with the TS ICET Registered User Id and Password 
• Make TS ICET application form 2025 fee payment online and submit

After filling the Online Application with the required details, the candidate is required to verify all the details carefully and press Submit button. Filled in Online Application will be generated which contains Registration Number along with filled in details. The candidate is required to take printout of Filled in Online Application, and it is to be submitted to the Invigilator during the examination after affixing a recent colour passport size photograph. The candidate should use the Registration Number for future correspondence.

List of Regional Online Test Centres of TG ICET 2025

TSCHE conducts the TG ICET 2025 counselling online using a dedicated website, tsicet.nic.in. However, candidates have to visit the regional centres for physical document verification. As the first step of the TG ICET 2025 counselling process, candidates should complete the online registration, followed by booking slots for in-person certificate verification. After the documents have been verified, candidates can exercise college choices. TG ICET seat allotment results are released based on ranks and choices marked by the candidate. More details will be updated after the exam by the authorities. 

• For Section A – Analytical Ability: Question paper is in English & Telugu and English & Urdu. 
• For Section B – Mathematical Ability: Question paper is in English & Telugu and English & Urdu. 
• For Section C – Communication Ability: Question paper is in English only. 

TG ICET qualifying marks is 25% i.e. 50 marks out of total of 200 marks. However, for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, no minimum qualifying percentage of marks is prescribed.   

The Candidates who appear in the exam will be given State-wide ranks in the order of merit in the TG ICET 2025. For the preparation of merit list, in case more than one student scores the same marks at TG ICET, the tie will be resolved as follows: 
i. By considering the marks scored in Section-A.  
ii. If the tie persists, marks obtained by a student in Section-B will be taken into consideration.  
iii. If the tie still persists, the tie will be resolved by taking into account the age of the candidate giving the priority to older candidate.
