TG ICET 2026 Counselling: Dates, Web Options, Seat Allotment, Cutoff, Telangana MBA Admission Process

Mahatma Gandhi University, on behalf of Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), is conducting TG ICET 2026 exam. TG ICET 2026 exam dates are May 13 and 14, 2026. TG ICET 2026 registration last date without late fees payment was March 31, 2026. TG ICET 2026 registration is closed now. TG ICET 2026 Admit Card was released on May 4, 2026.

TGCHE facilitates different processes of counselling via separate login link. The space below mentions login link for each of the stage of the TG ICET counselling 2026:

Candidates need to participate in the counselling process for MBA/MCA admission through TG ICET. Check eligibility conditions to be fulfilled for admission via TS ICET 2026 ranks.

• Only Indian nationals are eligible to fill the TG ICET counselling form
• Candidates must belong to the state of Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh
• Passing a minimum three-year bachelor's degree will mark the candidate eligible for MBA admission
• Candidates must have any of the following degrees to be eligible for MBA admission
  • BCA
  • B.Sc
  • B.Com
  • B.A with mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level
• A degree obtained via distance learning/ open distance learning should be recognised by a Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB

Candidates should note that mere qualifying the TS ICET 2026 does not guarantee MBA/MCA admission based on the state level exam.

TSICET counselling is conducted in a joint hybrid mode that includes both online and offline processes. Refer to the stepwise process of TS ICET 2026 counselling. Check how to participate in TG ICET 2026 counselling process below:

Candidates need to complete the one-time registration by entering the following details:

• Registration number
• Hall ticket number
• Date of birth

After pressing the 'Submit' button, candidates will be able to view the basic information page where key details will be filled in automatically. Candidates need to provide a mobile number and email address. In addition, candidates eligible for reservation must also provide the details related to Caste Certificate and Income Certificate.

TG ICET Counselling Fee Payment 
Once all the details are filled in, candidates must pay the counselling fee depending on their category. The registration fee can be paid in any of the following modes:

• Credit Card
• Debit Card
• Net Banking

Category Wise TS ICET Counselling Fee

• General categories: Rs 1,200
• SC/ST: Rs 600

Candidates need to get their documents verified by the exam officials to proceed with the participation in the TG ICET counselling process. The documents to be carried at the Help Line Centre are as follows:

• Rank Card 2026
• Hall Ticket 2026
• Aadhaar Card
• SSC/ Inter or equivalent marks memo
• Intermediate or its equivalent memo-cum-pass certificate
• Degree memorandum of marks
• Degree provisional pass certificate
• Study/Bonafide Certificate from Class 9 to Degree
• Transfer Certificate (TC)
• Caste Certificate of SC/ST/BC/Minorities (if applicable)
• Income Certificate issued by MRO (on or after January 1 of the exam year)
• PH/NCC/CAP/Sports and Games Certificates (if applicable)
• Residence Certificate for a period of seven years preceding the year of the qualifying exam
• Employer Certificate (If applicable)

TSCHE will provide the login credentials to exercise web options immediately after the certificate verification process. The login ID will be sent to the registered mobile number, and the password must be created by visiting the official website, i.e., tsicet.nic.in. Candidates may exercise their options from home, an internet centre, or a helpline centre. TSCHE has not prescribed any limit on the number of options that can be selected. Therefore, candidates are advised to choose as many options as possible to improve their chances of seat allotment. During the option entry process, candidates can select from the list of TG ICET participating institutes and courses. After submitting the options, candidates must take a printout of the finally saved choices.

Candidates can download the allotment order from the candidate portal using the ROC form number, TSICET hall ticket number, password, and date of birth. The TS ICET allotment order includes details of the allotted college, the tuition fee to be paid, and instructions for physically reporting to the college. To confirm the provisionally allotted seat, candidates must pay the prescribed tuition fee. Failure to pay the tuition fee within the stipulated time will result in cancellation of the allotment order.

Candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below to check the TS ICET seat allotment order: 

• Visit the official counselling website
• Click on the tab for 'Candidate Login'
• Enter login credentials, including login ID, hall ticket number, password and date of birth
• Enter the alphanumeric captcha code
• Click on the 'Sign in' button

The allotment order of TG ICET 2026 will appear on the screen along with the course fee payment and more.

TGCHE conducts TS ICET counselling in three phases. The final phase counselling is held to fill the vacant seats remaining after the first phase of TS ICET counselling. The counselling procedure in the first and final phases is the same. Certificate verification is carried out again. Candidates who have not completed certificate verification must visit the allotted Help Line Centre for the verification process. However, candidates whose certificates were verified in the first phase can directly proceed to the option entry process.

Key Highlights of TS ICET Final Phase Counselling
Below are some important points to note after the first phase of TS ICET 2026 counselling:

• Options exercised in the first phase will not be considered for seat allotment in the final phase. Candidates must submit fresh options for the final phase counselling.
• Candidates who were allotted a seat in the first phase and seek a better allotment in the final phase will have their initial allotment cancelled if a new allotment order is issued. Such candidates will not have any claim to the allotment order generated in the first phase of TG ICET 2026 counselling.
• The tuition fee paid in the first phase can be adjusted against the seat allotted in the final phase. However, candidates may also opt for cancellation or withdrawal of admission.

Eligibility for Option Entry in the Final Phase of TS ICET Counselling
TSCHE does not mark all candidates as eligible for option entry in the final phase. The following candidates are eligible to exercise options in the final phase of TS ICET 2026 counselling:

• Candidates who secured a seat in the first phase but are not willing to join.
• Candidates who did not secure a seat but have completed certificate verification.
• Candidates who did not participate in option entry but have completed certificate verification.
• Candidates who secured and confirmed a seat but are seeking a better option.
• Any other eligible candidates.

Cancellation of Seats after TG ICET Counselling 2026 
Candidates may cancel or withdraw admission within the prescribed period without forfeiting the tuition fee paid. To cancel the allotted seat, candidates must contact the Convener. The application for cancellation can be submitted in person, by post, or via email.
