IIM SAP 2026: Participating IIMs, Important Dates, Eligibility Criteria, Cut Off, Process

Supplementary Admission Process is the full form of SAP. IIM SAP is the final selection round for MBA admission in IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. IIM Sirmaur is not participating in IIM SAP 2026. 

SAP consists of Personal Interview round, and is conducted for the candidates who have not been shortlisted for IIM CAP round but have good CAT scores. CAT score is the sole criteria for IIM SAP shortlisting. 

IIM SAP 2026 Highlights 

IIM SAP Dates 2026 are not announced yet. IIM SAP 2026 registration process will open in early February, 2026. Check last year’s dates for SAP 2025 for reference. 

The SAP round is conducted for following two IIMs. 

• IIM Bodh Gaya
• IIM Jammu

So IIM SAP colleges list includes only IIM BG and IIMJ. Theses IIMs are also participating in the IIM CAP process. 
IIM Sirmaur is not participating in IIM SAP 2025. Last year, IIM Sirmaur participated in SAP 2024.

• Must have appeared for CAT 2025 and obtained a valid CAT score.
• Must meet the minimum qualifying CAT percentile set by IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu (percentile cut-offs vary by category).
• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from a recognized institution, with minimum marks as required for the respective category (General/EWS/OBC/SC/ST).
• Final-year undergraduate students are eligible, provided they submit proof of completion within the institute’s timeline.

CAT percentile score is the sole criteria to shortlist the candidates for SAP round. IIM SAP Shortlisting Criteria 2026 and IIM SAP Cut Off 2026 will be announced after CAT exam. Meanwhile, check IIM SAP 2025 Cut Off criteria for last year.

IIM Bodh Gaya SAP Cut Off 2025 
If CAP cut offs were not cleared, candidates could apply for IIM Bodh Gaya MBA admissions through SAP with following Cut Offs. Both the methods are given below:

If a girl student couldn't clear the CAP as well as SAP Cutoffs then she will be having another opportunity for applying to IIM Bodh Gaya through Super - Numerary method.

IIM Jammu MBA & MBA (HA&HM) Batch 2025-27 Personal Interview (PI) Shortlisting Criteria SAP-2025 Process 
 IIM Jammu conducts Supplementary Admission Process (SAP)-2025 for Non-CAP Shortlisted candidates along with IIM Bodhgaya. The minimum cut-offs of CAT percentile required in each section and overall percentile for shortlisting candidates (Category and Gender wise) for personal interview at IIM Jammu are given below: 

IIM Jammu SAP 2025 Shortlisting Criteria: 

IIM SAP shortlisting criteria are based on lower CAT cut off than which is applied for CAP. While IIM CAP Cut Off 2025 was 95 percentile for general candidates, IIM SAP Cut Off 2025 was 92 percentile. Similar trend is expected this year for IIM SAP 2026.  

IIM SAP Registration 2026 Process
Candidates interested for IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu who meet the IIM SAP Cut Offs 2026 can register and apply for admission through SAP in February 2026. For these candidates, PI round will be conducted through separate process. Remember SAP Calls will not include those who are shortlisted for the CAP.    
Instructions for filling SAP Registration Form 

1. The admission policy, merit list finalization, and subsequent admission offers are independent at all two IIMs. Based on the candidate’s position in the merit rank and other admission criteria, the provisional admission offer will be shared by respective IIMs.
2. Note for document upload: Please note that all documents must be uploaded (Size - Maximum 1.5 MB and File formats - .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .pdf), and if there are multiple documents to upload in a particular field, candidates should make a single file including all of those documents to upload in the portal.
3. Instructions regarding data to be filled and documents to be uploaded in the SAP Application

• Photograph and Signature (Upload the same photograph and signature as uploaded in the CAT Application Form)
• Photo Identity Card Document (only govt ID proof such as Aadhar, Voter ID, Driving Licence, and Passport)
• CAT 2024 scorecard (upload the pdf that you downloaded from the CAT website)
• 10th and 12th/Diploma (upload the mark sheet and certificate)
• Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree documents
• Professional Degree if any
• Work Experience (If any)
• Category/PwD Certificate, if applicable:

4. Correction Request: If any changes are required in the data submitted in CAT 2024 for the 10th or 12th /Diploma, kindly fill the same in the appropriate section of the SAP 2025 portal and upload the updated document in the corresponding section. For Bachelor’s/ Master’s/ Professional Qualifications, data is sought afresh in the SAP-2025 application form. 

5. Please ensure that the correct data is provided in the SAP 2025 application form, as no further change request will be entertained after submitting the SAP 2025 application form. 

6.    Apart from 10th/ 12th/ Diploma/ Bachelor's/ Master's/ Professional related educational qualifications, no other information change request/s for data submitted in CAT-2024 will be permitted. 

7.    The candidates are allowed to appear in Personal Appearance (PI/WAT) based on data/documents submitted by them. However, fulfilling the eligibility criteria, appearance in PI/WAT, and subsequent consideration of candidature do not indicate the confirmation of admission. The confirmation of admission is subjected to due verification of documents and validation of profile scores (academic and work experience) carried out during the registration process (i.e., after the provisional admission offer acceptance).

In summary, IIM SAP 2026 is jointly conducted by IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. IIM SAP Cut Offs are lower than IIM CAP Cut Offs. IIM SAP registrations 2026 will open in late January 2026.
