National Testing Agency (NTA) had announced to release the CMAT 2024 Exam City Intimation Slip on May 5 or 6, 2024. Candidates registered for CMAT 2024 Exam could check and download the exam city slip through the official site of CMAT at cmat.nta.nic.in. This has been a regular practice for the past five years by NTA. However, for the first time this year NTA has not released the Exam City Intimation slip. NTA has directly released CMAT 2024 Admit Card on May 6 evening.
What is CMAT Exam City Intimation Slip?
CMAT Exam City Intimation Slip is an advance information for the allotment of the City where the Examination Centre is located. This is displayed separately for each candidate and the candidates are supposed to download this advance intimation from NTA CMAT website. This is released before the release of admit card to help the candidates to make their travel and accommodation plan.
NTA Confirmed Earlier to Release the Exam City Intimation
Confirming the release of Advance Intimation on its website, National Testing Agency had notified the CMAT aspirants, “The notification regarding intimation of City of Exam Centre will be displayed on NTA website https://exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT, in prior to 10 days of Exam.” Since the CMAT 2024 exam date is May 15, it was expected that the intimation of exam centre would be displayed on May 5.
How to Check the CMAT Exam 2024 Intimation Slip on NTA Website?
The candidates are required to check/download their Examination City Intimation slip of Common Management Admission Test (CMAT-2024), using their Application No. and Date of Birth from CMAT website and go through the instructions contained therein.
Why CMAT 2024 Exam City Intimation Slip Not Released?
The advance information on CMAT Exam City helps to make your travel plan in advance to avoid any disappointment regarding the accommodation and conveyance arrangement. In case you need to travel far and have to book train or bus ticket, the advance intimation is also helpful.
For the first time since National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting CMAT exam, it has released the CMAT 2024 Admit Card on May 6 without releasing the Exam City Intimation Slip. Once the Admit card is released with all the details on exam centre and exam city, date and time of exam and exam instructions, there is no point of releasing the CMAT city intimation slip as it also contains the same or even less information.

Candidates registered for CMAT 2024 Exam should now download the Admit card from the official CMAT website cmat.nta.nic.in. CMAT 2024 Exam will be held on May 15, 2024 in two shifts. This year NTA has added a new feature in CMAT Exam Admit Card – Barcode. Without CMAT Exam Admit Card Barcode, the document is invalid. CMAT Exam Admit Card: Important Instructions for Candidates
NTA has issued following Important Instructions for Candidates.
- Kindly check your Photo, Signature and Barcode on your Admit Card. If anyone is missing from Photo, Signature and Barcode then
- kindly re-download because without Photo, Signature and Barcode your admit card is invalid.
- Admit Card is issued provisionally to the candidates, subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility conditions.
- Admit Card will not be sent by post.
- Candidate should not mutilate the Admit Card or change any entry made therein.
- Issue of Admit Card, however, shall not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility which shall be further scrutinized at subsequent stages of the admission process.
- Candidates are advised to preserve a copy of their Admit Card in good condition for future reference.
