MAH CET 2017 result for admission to MBA/MMS 2017-19 batch has been declared on time today on March 10, at 5 PM by the Directorate of technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra. This is for the 1st time during last 4 years that MAH CET result is declared in 5 days from the date of the exam. More than 94000 candidates had registered for MAH CET 2017 exam for admission to top MBA colleges in Maharashtra.

MAH CET 2017 test takers can view & download their score cards by login to DTE Maharashtra site. MAH-MBA/ MMS-CET 2017 marks have been displayed in terms of percentile on the scorecard of MAHMBA/MMS-CET 2017 Result.
Comprehensive List Not displayed
Probably alarmed with the legal issues and technical glitches Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra had to face year before last year in MAH CET result, DTE has not published the comprehensive list of successful candidates in MAH CET 2017 with their scores and percentiles.
90% took the test
Out of more than 94000 candidates who had registered for MAH CET 2017, it appears that around 80000 candidates appeared in MAH CET 2017 exam. There are around 40000 MBA/MMS seats in 400 top MBA colleges of Maharashtra where admission opportunity on the basis of MAH CET scores can be explored.
JBIMS back to DTE-CAP 2017
JBIMS Mumbai which got the autonomous status in 2014 and had earlier announced in December that it would not offer admission through DTE-Centralized Admission Process (CAP) to its flagship MMS 2017-19 batch, has come back to CAP 2017 round. JBIMS will not be separately conducting any GD-PI for admission to MMS 2017-19 batch and the entire admission process at Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) Mumbai will be through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) to be conducted by DTE Maharashtra.
Now the high percentilers in MAH CET 2017 instead of appearing in separate GD-PI of JBIMS for admission, the candidates will have to participate in CAP 2017 to be conducted by DTE Maharashtra sometime in May-June 2017 for admission to flagship MMS 2017-19 batch at JBIMS. Besides no separate application is proposed to be submitted to JBIMS, Mumbai as the allotment of the B-school will be decided in CAP round.

All the 400+ MBA Colleges in Maharashtra will participate in DTE – CAP 2017. The registration for CAP 2017 is proposed to open shortly and the CAP round is proposed to be conducted in the month of May 2017.
