MBA Summer placement 2018

MBA/PGDM students for the batch 2017-19 in B-schools are getting 15 to 25% higher stipend in summer placement over last year. The rising salary data and increasing number of participating recruiters in Summer Placement 2017 in IIMs, FMS, MDI, XLRI, IIFT and other top B-schools for the summer internships 2018 reveal that the MBA job market is soaring and MBA/PGDM students are getting higher stipend offers than last year.

 

More recruiters are making more offers and many B-schools have completed their summer placement within a short period of 3-4 days. Out of hundreds of participating recruiters in summer placements, many have to go back as 100% summer placement is done even before the scheduled arrival of the remaining recruiters.

Raising the bar for placements in B-schools of India and breaking its own record set last year, IIM Lucknow has concluded its Summer Placement for the batch 2017-19 in record time. Complete batch of 459 students at IIM Lucknow got placed in 150 companies who participated in Summer placement 2017 for the summer 2018 internships. A whopping increase of 50% was recorded in the offers made in Finance Profile.

IIM Kozhikode completed the summer placement for its 21st PGP batch 2017-19 in 4 days. 100 recruiters made 359 job offers. The average stipend has gone up by 25% over last year.

IIFT Delhi, Kolkata: Average Salary in summer Placement, MBA top recruiters

IIFT has emerged the first and fastest B-school of India completing its summer placement 2018 with 11% higher stipend than last year apart from receiving record number of international offers.  Nearly 65% of the batch was offered a six-figure stipend.  Around 80 leading recruiters made offers to the batch of 282 students and the companies hired students aggressively with 16 companies recruiting more than 5 students each.  International placements continued to be strong this year with 16 students being offered international roles across Middle East, Africa, Europe, Singapore and Indonesia.
