Don’t delay and logon to the CAT 2017 website now to view and download your CAT 2017 admit card. IIM Lucknow has released the CAT 2017 Admit card on CAT website. The process to view and download the CAT admit card is slightly changed as the candidates have to go to the icon window ‘Download Admit Card’ on the main login page of CAT 2017 website to have access to the CAT 2017 Admit card.

Although the icon ‘Download Admit card’ was enabled by the CAT 2017 Centre around 12.15PM today on October 25, it continued to remain inactivated till 12.29PM. However the ‘Download Admit card’ icon was activated half an hour before the scheduled time of 1PM.
You now have access to it by login to CAT 2017 website with the registered ID to view, download and take the print of the CAT 2017 Admit card as only the printed hard copy of the CAT Admit Card will allow you to appear in the CAT 2017 exam on November 26. Please note that IIM Lucknow will not send any hard copy of the CAT 2017 Admit card to any candidate.
The Admit Card needs to be directly printed from the CAT 2017 website using your User ID and Password. It is now available for printout WEF 12.30 PM today, the October 25. According to IIM Lucknow, “The admit card will not be mailed to your postal address. If you are unable to view your Admit Card after logging in, contact the CAT Helpdesk - Toll free: 18002663549; Email: [email protected].”
After a long wait and delay of 7 days from Oct 18 to October 25, the CAT 2017 conducting IIM Lucknow has made available the Admit card today at 12.30PM instead of 1 PM. CAT 2017 aspirants can download it now by login with their registered CAT 2017 existing user ID and password. It is further advisable to take at least 2-3 prints of the admit card after checking the details given in the document.
The CAT 2017 Admit cards were earlier announced to be available for view and print from October 18 onwards. However IIMs posted the massage later that the Admit Cards would be available to view and print on October 25 from 1 PM onwards.
How to View & Download CAT Admit card
As against the last year process of going to ‘Assessment’ under the head Admit Card, the CAT 2017 Admit card download process is much simpler. Now you can download your CAT Admit card in 3 steps shared below:
Step-1: Go to CAT 2017 website and click on the icon ‘Download AdmitCard’
Step-2: You are at Login window. Enter your CAT user Id and password and you will be led to the CAT Admit card
Step-3: At the bottom is the message Please click here to download your Admit Card. Click at the ‘here’ and your admit card is downloaded
Details to check in the CAT Admit Card
You need to check the following mandatory details in your CAT 2017 Admit card before you download it from CAT website
- Your Name – Is it correct as per your documents?
- Test date – Correct test date of November 26 should be mentioned.
- PWD status – In case the candidate is physically challenged, it should be mentioned in the CAT Admit Card.
- Test center Details- Your test city, test site with address should be mentioned
- Exam Time- your Morning or Evening time slot, as the case may be, should be mentioned on the CAT Admit card.

CAT Centre 2017 has allowed to login facility at 12.30 PM to download your CAT 2017 Admit card.
iew & Download Admit Card from CAT website; not from your mail
IIM Lucknow has clarified “The Admit card will be available on the CAT website only, you must log in using your CAT 2017 User ID to view/print the Admit card.”
Please note that your Admit card for CAT 2017 will neither be sent on your mail nor any hard copy of the same will be sent to you. You have to log onto the CAT website with your registered user ID of CAT 2017 to view and download the Admit Card.
No need to wait; download now
With 2.31 lakhs candidates thronging the website simultaneously, even a delay of few minutes in viewing and downloading the CAT 2017 Admit card may result in technical glitches increasing your waiting period
Despite it being a very strong site capable to cope with the high volume of CAT 2017 aspirants, it may develop some technical glitches like getting slow, not displaying full details or giving you some error messages. This might create irritation and may cause more anxiety. When you can very well avoid it, there is no need to wait and waste time.
Take 2 prints
According to CAT Centre 2017 ‘Admit Card is a mandatory document required to take the exam. You must print the Admit Card and bring it to the exam centre on the day of the exam.’
It will be better to take more than 2-3 prints of your admit card. Keep one with your other mandatory documents which you will have to carry to the exam centre and other with you so that in case of any query you may instantly refer to it.
Admit card for CAT 2017 is the first step in the process of getting near to the CAT 2017 exam. For example your Admit Card has brought the clarity on your date, time, test venue and slot of CAT 2017 exam.
