The Innovators Network will fulfill the long-standing need of entrepreneurs and innovators who wanted a platform for frequent interaction and who wanted to seek guidance from successful role models.

Other than IIM Bangalore and IIT Delhi, the network will be supported by Proteans Software Solutions, Erehwon Innovation Consulting, and, of course, the alumni of IITs and IIMs who have already given their commitment to work for the innovation cause in Bangalore. Innovators Network will bring together individuals, groups, companies and organizations working for the promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship. This would mean an organized forum to facilitate quick, open and effective interchange of ideas and resources.

IIT D Alumni Association’s Bangalore Chapter has been conducting regular events that are of direct relevance to all IIT and IIM alumni. Under the leadership of Rakesh Rajora, who is the president of IIT Delhi Alumni Association Bangalore Chapter, the group is playing a role in the positive transformation of business and society in Bangalore.

Apart from organizing business-focused events and promoting Indian entrepreneurship, the chapter has been very active in social entrepreneurship and educational initiatives. Last year, the Association launched the PAN IIT PAN IIM Entrepreneurs Forum to bring budding entrepreneurs together. It was also instrumental in funding and conducting the PAN IIT Outreach Program in Bangalore catering to all IIT alumni for creating the PAN IIT forum.

Proteans will bring in value to the Innovators Network because of its unique positioning as an industry leader in the ‘Outsourced Product Development’ space catering to technology companies globally. Proteans’ business experience and technical expertise of building market-winning products would benefit entrepreneurs and innovators in Bangalore. The company has committed that its technology managers and architects would dedicate time every month, along with logistics support for organizing various events for the Innovators Network. Neelam Dwivedi, co-founder of Proteans and Secretary of IIT Delhi Alumni Association - Bangalore Chapter, said," Interaction with Proteans will help innovators weigh the merit of their ideas before going to VCs, determine the technical feasibility, leverage Proteans global business insights and design expertise, and facilitate their idea realization in a superior manner."

NSRCEL emphasizes on value creation through informed entrepreneurship. The center defines the opportunities perceived by aspiring entrepreneurs, evaluates their strengths/weaknesses, and helps them with resources to translate their concepts into profitable business ventures. Dr Kalyani Gandhi, the chairperson of NSRCEL, is a passionate supporter of start-ups and innovation and would be a mentor to Innovators Network.

Erehwon Innovation Consulting is an innovation facilitation firm, based out of Singapore and Bangalore. It enables organizations to leverage quantum innovation for breakthrough results. Bhupendra Sharma, director and senior strategy consultant, Erehwon Innovation Consulting, said, "We will be happy to share our successful experience of 19-plus years in innovation facilitation with budding innovators at this Innovators Network. Just as Japan is known for quality, our mission is to make India known for innovation in 21st century.”
