IIM-A to hold conference on Marketing Paradigms for Emerging Economies

Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) will hold hold its 3rd Conference on Marketing Paradigms for Emerging Economies from January 7-9, 2009.

According to IIM-A, the objective of the conference is to provide forum to present and discuss research in marketing related to Emerging Economies and to facilitate sharing research based knowledge among academicians and practitioners on several other areas of Research in Marketing.  

Prof Piyush Kumar Sinha and Prof Prathap Oburai, faculty members at IIM-A, are leading the conference.  

Talking about the conference coverage, IIM-A says, "Some of the relevant points which will be discussed at the conference include Understanding consumers in emerging economies; Issues in managing marketing environment in emerging economies; Nature and characteristics of competitive scenarios in emerging economies; Opportunity identification and assessment for emerging markets; Issues in managing market offers in emerging economies and Strategies for harnessing the potential at the bottom of the pyramid."  

The participants can register for the conference by October 15, 2008.
