IMI HR Summit 2008 to focus on Financial Services, IT, Manufacturing and Consulting sectors

The students of PGDM-HR at New Delhi based International Managment Institute (IMI) are getting ready to hold the third two-day HR Summit on August 8-9, 2008.

The theme of of the IMI HR Summit will be 'Harnessing People Resources for Business Imperatives- A Multi- Sectoral perspective'.  

The Summit will involve four sector-specific panel discussions, and one session each on "CSR: The What's and The Worth" and "Is HR Ready for Talent Management?" The four broad sectors under the purview of this forum would be Technology (IT, ITes, Telecom industry); Manufacturing and Consumer Goods industry; Finance and Insurance sector; and Consultancy sector. 

The summit will also host an Inter B-School competition -- "Tantra- Mantra". This would be a two-day rolling event, consisting of a Paper Presentation Competition on Day One and a Case Study competition on Day two of the summit.
