Mr Rahul Bajaj, Chairman, Bajaj Auto Ltd; Mr R Gopalakrishnan, Convention Chairman & Executive Director, Tata Sons and Prof Nirmalya Kumar, Professor of Marketing, London Business School, along with a host of other experts, will address the summit theme of 'The New Manager'.
According to AIMA, "The National Management Convention aims to explore the imperatives for the new manager in the emerging economic context. It seeks to provide key insights that managers can take back with them and apply in their everyday work lives. The convention would be a truly rewarding experience for anyone grappling with questions on how to manage and work in the 21st century enterprise."
At the convention, Mr Kewal Handa, President AIMA will deliver the welcome address, Mr R Gopalakrishnan, Convention Chairman & Executive Director, Tata Sons will deliver the Theme address, Mr John Kerr, Consulting EMEA Regional Leader Deloitte will deliver the keynote address and the inaugural address will be give by Mr S K Swamy, Sr. Vice President, AIMA.
The day 1 will have three sessions. The topic of the first session is 'Developing a Global Mindset' which will be chaired by Mr Ram Tarneja, Past President, AIMA. Mr Jeff Watts, Partner, Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting Co, Japan and Ms Anne Nemer, Associate Dean, University of Pittsburgh will be the speakers of this session.
The second session will have the topic of 'India – The Road Ahead' where Ms Supriya Sadanand Sule, Member of Parliament, NCP is the speaker. Dr Nirmalaya Kumar will address the third session on 'Changing Marketing Paradigm for the New Manager'.
The second day of NMC will also have three sessions. The fourth session on the topic of 'Innovation: A Key Tool for the New Manager' will have Mr Larry Schmidt, Founder and President, Innovo, USA and Ms Rashmi Barbhaiya, CEO, Advinus Therapeutics as speakers.
Mr G V Sanjay Reddy, Vice Chairman, GVK Industries & Managing Director, Mumbai International Airport Limited and Mr, Niraj Bajaj, Chairman & Managing Director, Mukund Limited will be the speakers at the session on the topic of 'The Entrepreneur Manager'.
The sixth session on 'Managing Diversity – The Challenges for India Inc' will have the presentations by Champion Team of 5th National Competition for Management Students (NCMS) and Champion Team of 34th National Competition for Young Managers (NCYM).
The valedictory session will feature Mr Kewal Handa, Mr Gopalakrishnan, Mr Rahul Bajaj, Chairman, Bajaj Auto Ltd and Mr S Mohan, President, BMA.
At the NMC, AIMA will also give Local Management Associations Awards; National Competition for Young Managers Awards; National Competition for Management Students Awards National Competition for Young Managers and awards for National Management Games during NMC.
