IIT Kanpur Megabucks: IBM, Xerox and Technopak case study launched

Megabucks, the business and entrepreneurship festival of IIT Kanpur has launched five corporate cases as a part of Battlefield, the Case Study Competition.

According to Siddhartha Gupta, Head Media Relations, Megabucks @IIT-Kanpur, these cases are real life problems faced by these MNCs and the finalists would give their presentations to company executives at the festival.  

The deadline for the submission of abstracts for Xerox, Technopak and IBM cases is December 7, and prize money is INR 1.5 lakh.   

Battlefield's knowledge partners are Xerox, Technopak, Price Waterhouse Coopers, IBM and Avaya Labs.  

Registrations are also open for two other Competitions, 'Markstrat: The Market Strategy Contest' and 'Acumen: The Reality Entrepreneurship Challenge' based on Donald Trump's 'The Apprentice'. Event website http://students.iitk.ac.in/megabucks has more details.

Country's premier engineering institute IIT Kanpur will be holding annual international business and entrepreneurship festival Megabuck on January 8-11, 2009. The festival will draw participation from business leaders, top management and engineering institutes and even international institutes.
