After Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad and IIM Kolkata, IIM Bangalore and IIM Indore have also started their Final Placement Process this week. IIM B and IIM I shared this official information with MBAUniverse.com.
Prof Amarnath Krishnaswamy of IIM told MBAUniverse.com, “IIM B kicked off the Final Placement Process on February 27, 2009.” When asked about the duration of placement process, he said, “As of now, we cannot comment on how long the process will go on.”
Last year, IIM B placed 133 students out of the batch of 256 on Day zero where a total of 120 companies participated.
Prof Prashant Salwan, Placement Chairperson, IIM I told MBAUniverse.com, “IIM I is holding its Final Placement Process from February 28 to March 4, 2009.”
Last year, over 95 companies registering for the process making 367 offers to 173 IIM I students.
