MICA Convocation: A G Krishnamurthy offers ‘Panchshutras’ to make impact in corporate world

On the occasion of MICA convocation 09, noted Adman & Founder of MICA Mr A G Krishnamurthy offered 'five mantras' to students to excel in these troubled times.

He further said, “I have learnt in my long career that, to create professionals, we need to follow five basic principles. These are: 'Dream very big', 'Be the master of your trade', 'Be positive', 'Do not aim for materialistic things', and 'Never give up'." 

He further added, “In these troubled times, students need to realize that success is a process, not an event.” 

Mr Murthy was addressing the 14th Convocation of the Post Graduate Program in Management (Communications) at the Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA), which saw 115 students being awarded their Diplomas by Mr Gerson De Cunha, Chairperson of the MICA Governing Council.  

Mr A G Krishnamurthy, who is also an author and columnist and Chairman AGK Brand Consulting, presided over as the Chief Guest on the occasion. Mr Madhukar Kamath, Chairperson, Mudra Foundation Society, declared the Convocation open.  

Twenty-four students of 16th batch of the Creative and Crafting Communications Course were also conferred with Post Graduate Certificates at the Convocation. Audio-visual presentations of the advertisement done by these students were also showcased. 

The Year Book was released on this occasion by Mr Krishnamurthy along with a book ‘Chutnefying Hinglish Highlights’ authored by Prof Rita Kothari of MICA. A third book, “Culture, Consumption and Branding’ co-authored by Prof Atul Tandon and Prof Rajneesh Krishna were also released by Mr Gerson.
