FORE School of Management announces MDPs

The FORE School of Management (FSM) in New Delhi has announced its Management Development Programs (MDPs) for 2007-08.

The MDP calendar of FSM has 43 MDPs starting from May 21, 2007 and going on until February 22, 2008. These have been designed with a blend of conceptual and experiential learning. Some of the MDP topics this year are Trade Union Leadership in Current Environment, Business Forecasting Tools, HR for Line Managers, Project Management: Development and Social Sector and Finance for Non-Finance Executives.

Overall, the MDPs will cover areas of Organization Behaviour & Human Resource Management, Financial Management, General Management/Strategic Management, Marketing Management and Information Technology.

Faculty members who will be leading the MDPs include Prof P N Singh, Dr Vina Vani, Dr Sanghamitra Buddhapriya, Dr J P Upadhyay among others. All MDPs will be held at the FMS campus, and the fees will range between Rs 8,000 and Rs 12,000 for non-residential programs, and between Rs 15,550 and Rs 35,000 for residential ones. Mr Sat Prakash is the MDP manager at FSM.  

Dr. Seema Sanghi, director, FSM, will teach in eight MDPs; the topics will be: Enhancing Managerial Skills; Emotional Intelligence for Professional Success; Psychometric Testing: Application and Training; Communication and Presentation Skills; Competency Based Interviewing Skills; Creativity and Problem Solving; Team Building and Leadership; Competency Mapping and Coaching, Mentoring and Managing.

Established in 1981, FSM has close links with the corporate sector in India, and is receiving assistance and recognition from a large number of organizations. According to FSM, the institute has developed many MDPs to equip managers with knowledge, skills and attitudes required for effectively responding to industry pressures and opportunities.
