IIFT to conduct entrance exam on Nov 25, to accept GMAT scores too

Delhi based Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has announced that its entrance exam for MBA (IB) will be held on 25 November 2007.

This year the test will be conducted in 19 cities include Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Jamshedpur, Jaipur, Indore, Allahabad, Bhubaneshwar, Lucknow etc. IIFT has also announced that it will accept GMAT score declared after January 1, 2006.

According to IIFT, the test paper is designed on multiple-choice answers that include English Comprehension, General Knowledge & Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative analysis. Students have to solve total 200 questions within 2 hours, says IIFT.

Candidates having Bachelor Degree of minimum three years from any recognized University are eligible for IIFT exam.

The students will be selected on the basis of their performance in Written Test, Group Discussion, Interview and Essay Writing. Students can get their application forms by 3 September from the IIFT and the last date of submission will also be the same.

In 1963, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was set up by the Government of India. The institute offers Two year and three- year MBA Program in International Business, Executive Masters in International Business and Certificate Programmes in Export Management. IIFT has also collaborations with renowned bodies like WTO, World Bank, UNCTAD and the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
