The All India Management Association (AIMA) has launched the applications process for Management Aptitude Test (MAT) September 2011 from today i.e. July 1.
With this start of the application process AIMA has also declared the list of test centers and the B-schools accepting MAT Sept exam scores.
B-schools accepting MAT September 2011 scores
For MAT September 2011, 232 B-schools across India will accept the exam scores. The B-schools are divided among four zones, North, West, South and East.
The names of some of the prominent B-schools under these zones are:
North
In the North zone, 72 B-schools will accept the MAT September 2011 scores. The prominent names of the B-schools are AIMA Center for Management Education, Amity University, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Usha & Lakshmi Mittal Institute of Management New Delhi, Fortune Institute of International Business New Delhi, Galgotias Business School Greater Noida, IILM Group of Institutes Greater Noida & Gurgaon, Jagannath Institute of Management School New Delhi, Jaipuria Institute of Management Noida, NIILM Center for Management Studies Greater Noida, among others.
West
There are 43 B-schools in the West Zone. The prominent ones are AICAR Business School Neral, IILM Academy of Higher Learning Jaipur, NIIT University, Nimrana, Xavier Institute of Development Action & Studies, Jabalpur to name a few.
South
There are 87 B-schools in the South zone which will accept the scores of MAT September 2011 exam. The prominent names include Acharya Institute of Management & Sciences Bangalore, IFIM Business School Bangalore, Indus Business Academy Bangalore, etc.
East
The eastern zone has 40 B-schools which will accept MAT September 2011 exam. Out of them, the prominent names are Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Kolkata, Bhavan’s Center for Communication & Management Bhubaneswar, Birla School of Management Kolkata, Institute of Engineering & Management Kolkata, Indian Institute of Business Management Patna, to name a few.
Test Centers
MAT September 2011 will take place in 48 cities in India and two international cities of Dubai and Singapore. However, most of the test centers do not cater to computer based testing. Only tests centers of Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Cochin, Bhopal, Mumbai, Jaipur, Chennai, Lucknow, Noida and Kolkata will hold MAT in both paper pencil and computer based formats.
