The lecture will be on the theme of Creative Leadership. The foundation day celebrations mark eleven years of IIM-I. Mr Y C Deveshwar, Chairman of ITC Limited had delivered last year's foundation day lecture on "Triple Bottom Line - ITC Experience".
Set up in 1996, Indian Institute of Management Indore - the youngest sibling in the family of IIMs - has made rapid strides since its inception. Its portfolio of programmes has increased. Recent B-school ranking surveys show IIM-I climbing up the ladder. Outlook-Cfore Survey 2007, released early September, ranked IIM-I on 9 th spot. It was ranked # 11 in last year's survey. As per the Business Today-AC Nielsen Survey 2007, IIM I was ranked at # 6, rising from last year's # 8 slot.
IIM-I offers two-year Post Graduate Programme (PGP), 18-month executive post-graduate programme (exe-PGP), Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) and several other programmes. Its 193 acre campus is amongst the largest campuses in the country.
