E-Cell of NCU organized a lecture session by Mr Amit Chaudhary, Co-founder and COO, Lenskart, on 16th March, 2016. The session was attended by around 100 self-driven students. Mr Amit narrated his entire journey from a young student, from BIT, Mesra, to an entrepreneur. This was followed by a flurry of questions by the audience. Then he stayed back for a mentoring session, on students’ request (those students who are ready with their ideas and looking for investors). Vaibhav Kaushik (ME, 6thSem) received his certificate from Mr Amit, for being the winner of the essay competition (“Youth and Entrepreneurship: Opportunity or Risk”) held on 2nd March, 2016. It was the E-Cell coordinators – Vimal Dahiya (MBA, 2nd sem), Harshit Goel (CSEIT, 4thSem), Priya Bhargava (MBA, 2ndSem), Prateek (CSE, 2ndSem) and Pankaj (CSE, 2ndSem)who worked relentlessly to make the event a success.
