While they have the legacy of being the pioneers, are IIM A and IIM C really India’s Best B-school? Or have its nimbler peers beaten the masters? Which are India’s best new IIMs? Which are India’s top PGDM B schools? MBAUniverse.com Ranking 2013-14, India’s most credible and ‘toughest’ B-school Ranking, will unveil the new B-school hierarchy on November 5.

While there are more than a dozen MBA rankings in India, with the participation from more than 150 B-schools, including 11 IIMs, IIT School of Managements, highly rated Public University MBAs like FMS Delhi and JBIMS and virtually each of the 100 PGDM B schools including XLRI, SPJIMR, MDI, IMI etc, MBAUniverse.com ranking is widely regarded as India’s toughest ranking to get ranked on.

To get the most comprehensive and authentic data set for analysis, MBAUniverse.com used the provisions of Right to Information Act 2005 to access information from a few IIMs and MBA department of an IIT and a leading public university. Since more than 150,000 MBA aspirants will be using our survey to take their admission decision, absence of latest and credible information will only perpetuate myths, and give undue advantage of ‘hallo’ effect.

The survey is being conducted under the guidance of a high-power advisory body, headed by Dr Bakul Dholakia, former director of IIM Ahmedabad. Dr Rajesh Shukla, former Director of National Council for Applied Economic Research (NCAER), who has published more than 100 International & National studies and surveys for Government of India and top corporates, is guiding the data analysis.

Speaking on the survey Dr Dholakia said “MBAUniverse.com B school Survey, now in its 4th year, is an endeavor to assess the quality of Indian B schools and offer an objective & realistic yardstick to students and recruiters. I am happy to guide this process.”

Highlighting the USPs and purpose of the survey, Mr Amit Agnihotri, Chairman, MBAUniverse.com, said, “With widest possible participation from 11 IIMs and 150 B-schools, the MBAUniverse.com Rankings are India’s toughest yardstick to get ranked on.
