Countdown to TiE Entrepreneurial Summit 2007: CK Prahalad, Kamal Nath, Kanwal Rekhi, P Chidambaram amongst host of power speakers

Talking about entrepreneurship, it really doesn't get any bigger than this. The forthcoming TiE Entrepreneurship Summit 2007 will feature a galaxy of speakers.

The speakers inlude Prof C K Prahalad, Industry Minister Kamal Nath, TiE founder Kanwal Rekhi, Finance Minister P Chidambaram and several entrepreneurs talk about the importance of entrepreneurship in India's growth story. The three day event, to be held in New Delhi on Dec 11-13, will hold series of addresses, panel discussions, workshops and mentoring sessions on themes covering investment trends, entrepreneurship development and building better ecosystem for entrepreneurship to thrive in India.   

Day 1 of the summit will have inaugural addresses by several eminent speakers including Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath and Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia. Post lunch session will see discussions on Investment trends in Technology, Consumer Businesses, Media and Entertainment sector. The evening will host Dataquest Awards as well.  

CK Prahalad will kick-off day two of the Summit. Two power packed panel discussions will see Sanjeev Bikhchandani, CEO, Naukri.com and V Vaidyanathan, ED of ICICI Bank talk on 'Small in Big.' The other panel discussion will be on emerging India. The day will also have breakout sessions on Entrepreneurship in areas like Lifestyle, Environment, Rural and Microfinance, Education and Training sectors.  

Finance minister P Chidambaram will deliver the keynote address of Day 3 of the Summit. Some of the start speakers of day 3 will include marketing consultant and author Rama Bijapurkar and Kris Gopalakrishnan, CEO of Infosys Technologies. The highlight of day 3 will be breakout sessions on 'Starting-up', 'Scaling-up' and 'Being Global.'
