With more top rated B-schools in non-IIM category giving quality competition to well established IIMs, it is time for CAT 2015 applicants to give a serious thought whether to go for IIM Lucknow, Indore, Kozhikode or apply to FMS Delhi, SPJIMR Mumbai, MDI Gurgaon and IMI Delhi before they close their application process. Although it is a tough decision but it has to be taken in time on merits to avoid repenting later for non-submission of online application to any of the preferred B-school.

Since the process of applying to various PGP 2016-18 programmes in 19 IIMs has been completed along with the registration for CAT 2015, applicants need not apply again to any of the IIMs but other top rated B-schools accepting CAT 2015 scores in admission to MBA/PGDM 2016-18 batch will need separate application to be submitted before the deadline fixed by them.

The fact that admission process and shortlisting criteria both at the IIMs and the above referred B-schools are equally tough and transparent suggests the applicants to decide about their future MBA plans on various parameters and past performance of these management institutes.
