IIFT 2016 exam notification for admission to MBA (IB) 2017-19 has been released today on July 15

IIFT 2016 exam notification for admission to 360 seats in MBA (International Business) 2017-19 batch at its Delhi and Kolkata campuses has been released today on July 15. With the release of exam notification, IIFT has also opened the registration and application process for the IIFT entrance exam to be held on November 27, 2016 across the country in conventional paper-pencil mode. The registration and application process to appear in IIFT 2016 exam is available online as well as off-line.

The registration window for IIFT 2016 exam that opened today will remain open for 50 days as the last date to submit the completed application form is September 5, 2016. IIFT will be conducting its National Level Admission Test for MBA (IB) batch 2017-19 for its Delhi and Kolkata campuses.

1 day 2 hours test window
Indian Institute of  Foreign Trade (IIFT)  proposes to conduct the entrance exam for MBA (IB) 2017-19 admission on November 27, 2016 from 10AM to 12 noon across the country in paper pencil mode.

Exam in 20 cities
Following are the test centres for IIFT 2016 entrance exam Visakhapatnam,Guwahati,Chandigarh,Delhi,Ahmedabad,Jamshedpur,Bangalore,Kochi,Indore,Mumbai, Nagpur, Bhubaneshwar, Jaipur, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Dehradun, Allahabad, Lucknow, Kolkata

Who can register and apply
Applicants should ensure before applying for IIFT 2016 exam for admission to MBA (IB) 2017-19 batch that they possess following qualification-

-- Recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years’ duration in any discipline.
-- Candidates appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by beginning of October of the year of start of the course.
-- No age limit to appear in IIFT entrance exam.
-- Work experience not necessary

Registration & Application fee 
The application fee for IIFT entrance exam is Rs.1550/- for general category candidates. The application fee for SC/ST/PH Candidates is Rs.775.

According to IIFT  ‘The cost of Prospectus and Application Form is one-time payment of Rs.1,550 which includes application screening and Entrance Test Fee and the candidates are not required to pay any other fee while sending back the filled-in Application Form to IIFT”.

Facility to apply online or offline
IIFT will offer the facility to apply both online as well as off line.  However the last date of submission of completed application forms in either mode will remain the same i.e. September 5, 2016. Any candidate who is a graduate and can produce the proof of his qualification by October 7, 2017 is eligible to appear.

How to apply On-line
Online registration for IIFT entrance exam is opened along with the release of notification. For IIFT 2016 registration, candidates are required to visit IIFT website and register themselves with their mail id. The online form for IIFT 2016 registration is available thereat. The form is to be filled in as per the given instructions.

The print-out of the Form has to be taken out and the candidates are required to attach their photograph and sign the form as instructed. The print out along with the necessary enclosures has to be sent to IIFT so as to reach there on or before the last date.

How to apply Off line
IIFT 2016 registration can also be done in off-line mode. The application fee is the same Rs.1550/-. The candidates can also buy the Prospectus in cash or through demand draft. They need to complete the enclosed Application Form and send the same in the envelope provided for the purpose to the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, B-21, Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi-110016 so as to reach IIFT on or before the last date.

It is advisable to retain a photocopy of the completed application form and demand draft for future reference.

Exam Pattern
IIFT MBA (IB) admission 2017 entrance test will be a paper pencil mode, multiple choice objective type written test (in English) consisting of questions covering English Comprehension, General Knowledge & Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Analysis.

IIFT entrance test is one of the most preferred MBA entrance exams. Around 60 thousand candidates are expected to go for IIFT 2016 registration and apply for admission to 360 seats of MBA (International Business) programme for both campuses of IIFT at Delhi and Kolkata. The ratio per candidate is higher than any other MBA entrance test. IIFT doesn’t accept any other score than the score of its own entrance test for domestic candidates. For NRIs and foreign nationals GMAT scores are accepted.
