Dr Bhimaraya Metri, Director, IIM Trichy
Dr BhimarayaMetri is the Director of IIM Tiruchirappalli.Dr Metri is the author of AICTE’s ‘Model Curriculum for Management Program (MBA & PGDM) Report, published in January 2018.
Dr Metri has trained more than 500 Directors, Principals & Deans of Engineering Institutes including NITs under TEQIP. He has conducted training programmes to senior executives of several leading organizations including ONGC, NTPC, Fortis, Jindal Stainless Steel, HCL, ABB, Nestle, DCM Shriram, Cairn Energy, and many others.
Prior to joining as Director of IIM Trichy, Dr Metri was Dean Academic and Professor of operations management at IMI New Delhi and had held positions like Dean (Academic), Dean (GP), Chairman (PGPM), Chairman C-SCM at MDI Gurgaon and In-charge PhD Programs at BITS Pilani.
A PhD from IIT Bombay, Dr Metri is the President, Indian Subcontinent, Decision Sciences Institute (DSI), Atlanta, USA.
