University of Petroleum and energy Studies -UPES, Dehradun will organize UPESMET 2 from March 28 to 30, 2014. It will be an ONLINE MBA Entrance Test for admission to 10 MBA programs in the specialized sectors of Oil & Gas, Power, Energy, Infrastructure, Aviation, Port & Shipping, Logistics & Supply Chain, Business Analytics and International Business. Unique Online Test
UPESMET 2 is a completely online exam which the aspirants can take from any location in India, provided they have a laptop/desktop with a webcam and an internet connection. The exam will be conducted on 3 days with 3 exam slots each for every day.
Nature and pattern of exam
The test paper comprises 160 questions with 40 questions each from four sections listed below. The test will have to be attempted in 150 minutes.
Section-1 General English comprising Reading comprehension, Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Ability
Section-2 Quantitative aptitude, Data Interpretation and data sufficiency
Section-3 General Awareness comprising General Knowledge on current affairs and business related
Section-4 Analytical and Logical reasoning
Important Dates & Venue Details
Exam will be held during a 3 day test window from March 28 to 30, 2014. Three Exam slots from 9.30 A.M. to 12; 12.30 to 3.00 P.M.; 3.30 to 6 P.M. will be available during the test window of three days.
Last Date to apply is March 26, 2014 and the Results will be declared on or before April 7, 2014.
Applicants will be shared a username and password and detailed instructions to take the test at the designated time slot.
Eligibility Criteria
The aspirants applying for UPESMET 2 need to have minimum 50% marks in both Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th and 12th respectively) as well as in graduation from a recognized university.
University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) was established in the year 2003 through UPES Act, 2003 of the State Legislature of Uttarakhand. It has emerged as an innovative institution offering programs that are specifically designed for core sectors with high growth projections.
