XLRI has extended the last date for XAT 2015 registration and application process from November 22 to November 30, 2014
Apart from XLRI, XAT scores will be used by 10 member institutes and 110 other B schools

XLRI, the XAT conducting body of XAT 2015 has extended the last date for XAT 2015 registration and application process from November 22 to November 30, 2014. XAT is the gateway for MBA/PGDM programmes in top rated B schools like XLRI, SPJIMR, XIMB, IMT, XISS and many others. XAT 2015 will be conducted by XLRI on behalf of XAMI on January 4, 2015, the first Sunday of New year of 2015. XLRI has been conducting Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) for the last 60 years at All India level.

XAT is aimed to select the most appropriate candidates who wish to pursue management education. Apart from XLRI, XAT scores will be used by 10 member institutes and 110 other B schools. XAT 2015 will be the shortlisting criteria in these B schools for admission to MBA/PGDM programmes for 2015-17 batch.

8 more days for XAT 2015 registration: Thousands to be benefited

The registration process for XAT 2015 was supposed to be over on November 22, 2014. However, XLRI has now extended the registration date for XAT 2015 to November 30, 2014. XAT aspirants will now have another 8 days available for registration and application process.

The Candidates who are busy in preparing for CAT 2014 and IIFT entrance 2014 find it difficult at this juncture to register for XAT 2015 due to paucity of time despite their intention to apply for admission to XLRI along with registering for XAT 2015. They will now have 8 more days after getting free from their CAT and IIFT exams which will be over on November 22 and 23, 2014 respectively.

The admission process in XLRI for PGDM batch 2015-17 requires the admission aspirants to separately apply to XLRI online before December 21, 2014 after completing the registration and application process for XAT 2015.

XAT 2015: The largest paper pencil based test

XAT 2014 was the largest paper pen based MBA/PGDM entrance test and XAT 2015 is expected to maintain the same glory. Around 1 lakh candidates are expected to register for XAT 2015. The pace of registration is expected to be much higher after CAT and IIFT exams. Candidates who missed CAT registration should also seek MBA/PGDM admission opportunities through XAT 2015 as many top rated B schools also accept XAT scores along with CAT scores. 

Register now: Avoid last minute technical glitches

Last days in registration process for XAT 2015 might be filled with technical glitches due to rush of the applicants. It is advisable to spare some time out of the busy schedule and complete the XAT 2015registration and application process at the earliest.

XAT 2015: facility to change the test city till Nov 26

Unlike CAT 2014 which has not allowed for the change in test city or centre, XAT 2015 will permit the applicants to apply for change of  XAT exam centre. However, the application with the request to change the test city has to be submitted on line with XAT 2015 registered user id  up to 26th November 2014. 

Separate application for admission to B school required

XLRI clarifies “XAT is a common test for admission into academic programmes of XLRI and XAT Associate Member Institutes. If you are interested in XLRI or any other XAT Associate Member Institutes, you need to register and apply separately for the academic programmes of XLRI or to the institutes of your choice.”  Admission aspirants to the B schools accepting XAT 2015 shall therefore, have to apply to the respective B school as per its admission process.
