Overwhelming response is received in registration for admission 2015 application process but technical glitches occurred on the last date of SPJIMR application submission, this has called for the B school to extend the last date of application submission by one day till Dec 1, 2014. Thousands of candidates could not submit their application on Sunday Nov 30, 2014 due to technical problem faced by them in online payment gateway.

The candidates continued calling MBAUniverse.com to explore the possibilities of extension in the last date of application as they were facing the technical issues in submitting the application and making the payment on the last day. One of the candidates wrote ‘As soon as I click on make payment the page becomes unresponsive. Is the website facing some issues. I am unable to make payment’ Such problems were encountered by thousands of the candidates. Acknowledging and realizing the problems faced by the candidates Dr Atish Kumar Chattopadhyay, Dy Director PGDM, SPJIMR says “The payment gateway was having issues due to heavy traffic as such we have extended the deadline only by a day to enable all those who were in the process of filling the form but could not complete the same yesterday.”
Last opportunity
This extension will also help those who have not yet applied to SPJIMR but wish to apply. The MBA/PGDM aspirants waiting to apply for admission in S P Jain Institute of management & Research (SPJIMR) Mumbai can apply till Dec 1, 2014 now. The highly ranked B school in India has received overwhelming response in terms of applications. The B school has already crossed the last year’s application number while thousands are still waiting to submit the application. According to Dr Atish ‘We have received overwhelming response to the program and data is being collated. we have already crossed last year's numbers’.
Those who have not been able to apply can utilize this last opportunity to apply for admission 2015 in SPJIMR till Dec 1, 2014. CAT/XAT/GMAT takers can apply
SPJIMR will shortlist the candidates for admission 2015 on the basis of CAT 2014, GMAT and XAT 2015 exam scores. The candidates who have not been able to fare so well in CAT 2014 have the opportunity to apply for XAT 2015 till December 8, 2014.
XAT 2015 aspirants can apply to SPJIMR today and register for XAT 2015 by Dec 8 and further improve their percentile to explore admission opportunities in SPJIMR. GMAT takers (Test taken from January 2012 onwards to Dec 15, 2014) can also apply.
Work experience is not mandatory, fresh graduates those with upto 5 years of work experience can apply.
Please remember to be eligible to be considered for admission 2015 at SPJIMR, candidates have to ensure that they apply online to SPJIMR latest by Dec 1, 2014.
Usually the last minute technical problems flare up due to the rush of the candidates preferring to apply at the eleventh hour. The MBA/PGDM aspirants for 2015-17 batch must therefore apply well before the close of the online application process in SPJIMR today.
