The round of good MBA/PGDM admission options based on MAT May 2015 scores and available in various B schools across the country is going to draw curtains in a few days from now. If you appeared in MAT 2015 (Feb/May), it is the right time to strike as the Iron is red hot.
Please remember the next MAT 2015 going to be held in September 2015 will make you eligible for MBA 2016 only. On that ground you may consider May MAT 2015 as the last MBA entrance exam for admission in the academic session 2015-16.
More options than earlier
MAT May 2015 takers are blessed with a round of better than earlier options of MBA admission available to them till next few days after the declaration of May MAT 2015 results. There are good B schools who have closed their admission process or are going to close the same shortly but since MAT May 2015 result has recently been declared and Centralized Admission Process (CAP) is also going on for admission to MBA programmes in Maharashtra, they are left with no option but to accept the admission applications from the candidates.
Since the admission opportunities still exist in good B schools across India, MBA aspirants are advised to choose the best in accordance with their preferences.
Maharashtra CAP: Registration open
Opportunity of MBA admission in 400+ B schools in Maharashtra can be explored on the basis of MAT Feb 2015 scores as the registration for Centralized Admission Process (CAP) 2015 is open till May 30, 2015. It is also possible that CAP 2015 at s later stage may issue some notification that they would also accept May MAT 2015 scores as their CAP round is going on.
Submit direct application to Mah B schools
Hundreds of B schools in Maharashtra have PGDM programmes along with MBA programmes. The USPs of both the programmes are same with the difference that their fee structure is slightly different. While the candidates allotted an MBA/MMS in a B school through CAP round has to pay the fee as decided by ‘Shikshan Shulka Samiti’ of Maharashtra, those who go direct for PGDM are supposed to pay the fee as given on the B school site and this fee is higher than the former one.
But, when you apply to the B school direct in Maharashtra (if it allows) for its PGDM programme there is no dilemma on admission and you may explore admission on the basis of May MAT 2015 scores.
There are top rated B schools in every state of the country who would also be accepting May MAT 2015 and the scorers may opt for any of the good options to take admission in MBA 2015 before the closing date.
Admissions outside Maharashtra
