BULMIM has initiated number of activities including launch of OJAS-academic club based business magazine, flood relief camp by CSR Club, Workshop on Indian Ethos in Management, Guest Lecture on E-procurement, National Seminar on Solar Energy & Energy Efficiency.
MOOLYA: Finance Club
The Finance Club of BULMIM launched the much awaited very first edition of OJAS, the only academic club based business magazine of BULMIM, which is overseen by the students itself. Honorable director - BULMIM , Dr. M. Durgamohan, & our beloved Finance Faculty- Dr. Nidhi Sahore, Dr. Jagdish Raj Saini (Club Conveyor) & Mr. Pallab Sikdar embellished the event with their presence and did the honor of launching OJAS. Other esteemed faculties as well as enthusiastic students joined the event. OJAS, The Business Magazine will be published on a quarterly basis and will give students a platform to present their writing skills as well as gain recognition. The next issue is slated for the month of January.
Jazbaa- The CSR Club
A flood relief camp for Bihar was initiated by Jazbaa, the club members put in their utmost effort in collecting and delivering the material for Bihar flood affected areas.
Workshop on Indian Ethos in Management
The Students of BULMIM attended a workshop on ‘Indian Ethos in Management’, at the Vivekananada International Foundation (VIF), 18-19 Sep 2019. The key speakers at the workshop were Sh S Gurumurthyji, Dr. P Kanagasabapathi, Dr. Rahul Varma, Dr. Shashi Prabha Kumar, Ms. Gunjan Pradhan Sinha
Guest Lecture on E-procurement
IT and Operation Club organized a guest lecture on ‘E-Procurement’. Dr. Rajeev Prakash Saxena, who is a former Director-General at NIC, Govt of India was the guest speaker. Discussing the traditional methods of procurement, the speaker enlightened the students regarding the intricacies of the process.
National Seminar on Solar Energy & Energy Efficiency
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Usha & Lakshmi Mittal Institute of Management (BULMIM) organised a National Seminar on “Solar Energy and Energy Efficiency: Corporate Cognizance and Efforts For Sustainability” on 21stAugust 2019.The keynote address was delivered by Chief Guest, Mr Atul Kumar Bali, Senior General Manager in National Smart Grid Mission (NSGM-PMU) , MoP, Govt of India . Mr Rohik Kumar, Head of Indian Subcontinent, Renewable Energy Corporation (India) Private Limited and Mr. Abhishek Kumar Jha, Power Finance Corporation (Limited) graced the occasion as Guests of Honour and enlightened the students on different aspects of solar energy and energy efficiency.
