Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management (VJIM) Hyderabad celebrated its 29th Convocation on November 24. Distinguished Scientist Mr. U. Raja Babu, Director General (Missiles and Strategic Systems) at Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), as the Chief Guest. Prof. Vishal Gupta from IIM-Ahmedabad was the Guest of Honour.
Mr. Raja Babu delivered the Convocation address and honored meritorious students with medals and prizes. Expressing congratulations to the graduates, he emphasized the importance of utilizing opportunities in the evolving world and continuously upgrading skills for success. Mr. Raja Babu highlighted the qualities of a successful leader, emphasizing the need for planning, collaboration, and effective execution with suitable risk mitigation plans. The Guest of Honour, Prof. Vishal Gupta from IIM-Ahmedabad, stressed the significance of quality business management education and encouraged students to work hard for success.
President of Vignana Jyothi, Mr. Daggubati Suresh Babu, commended the enduring efforts of the Director and Faculty for realizing the academic and career objectives of every student. Acknowledging VJIM as a top private business school in South India, he noted the institution's progress, including partnerships with the Asian Institute of Technology and Harvard Business Publishing.
Prof. P. Srinivas Subbarao, Director of VJIM, welcomed guests and expressed gratitude for the institution's support. He highlighted VJIM's commitment to providing value-based quality education, emphasizing the importance of competent faculty. Addressing the graduates, Prof. Subbarao emphasized that they carry not just a degree but the legacy and values of VJIM.
