In case you have not yet registered and applied for MAHCET 2015, you can avail the last opportunity. DTE Maharashtra may not extend the last date of late registration for MAHCET 2015 beyond March 2, 2015 i.e. today.
Providing a 3 day opportunity to apply for MAHCET 2015, Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra has allowed late submission of registration and application form with late fee of Rs.1000/- till 5PM on March 2, 2015 after the last date for application was over on Feb 27, 2015.
Registration and Application process for MAHCET 2015 for admission to MBA/MMS 2015-17 batch was opened by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra on Feb 18, 2015 and was closed at 5 PM on Feb 27, 2015. The candidates who could not register and apply till Feb 27, 2015, should apply before 5 PM today. Candidates will now have to pay Rs.2000/- instead of Rs.1000/- towards registration fee to apply for MAHCET 2015.
Avoid last minute rush: Apply now
It is very much expected that the last minute rush might create technical glitches. Your registration may or may not be completed when thousands of the candidates throng the DTE site simultaneously. Not only this, the amount that you are going to pay through internet banking may get stuck, if you choose to register and apply late today for MAHCET 2015.
It is advisable not to wait till 5 PM today but apply as soon as possible to avoid last minute technical problems that might arise in registration for MAHCET 2015.

Online application only
DTE Maharashtra has allowed only online registration process for MAHCET 2015. The
online registration for MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2015 is possible through computer connected to Internet on the web site www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/mba2015.
Be clear on guidelines
During online form filling, candidate will be required to choose Password and Security Question and its Answer. Candidate is advised to record/remember the Application ID and Password for all future logins.

How to begin with registration: Creating password
There are 2 icons on the DTE Maharashtra site while applying for MAHCET 2015 i.e. Apply for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2015 & Login Registered User.
The aspirant applying for MAHCET 2015 should click on Apply for MAH-MBA/MMS -CET 2015. After completing the application form, you will receive the application ID with which you will be required to login to complete the application form and in future also.
The first step is to fill Registration Details, choose your Password and note down system generated Application ID. The candidate is supposed to supply all the details while filling the Registration Details as required in the registration/application form.
The process will ask you to create your specific password. DTE Maharashtra has given the facility to choose the password. The candidate therefore is required to choose password and Security Question and enter the answer.
The Password must be 8 to 13 character long; must have at least one Upper case alphabet; must have at least one Lower case alphabet; must have at least one numeric value and must have at least one special characters for example @#$*.
Fill Registration details
After successful submission of the data, Application ID will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form (Upload Images of Photo and Signature, Edit/Save Data, Payment) and also required for all future correspondence.
For subsequent logins, candidate will be able to login directly with his/her respective system generated Application ID and chosen Password.
Upload Photo & Signature
The next step is to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature of prescribed size while getting ready to proceed with the next step.
According to DTE Maharashtra The scanned images of photograph, Signature and thumb impression should be in.jpg/.jpeg format only. Size of the photo image must be greater than 10 kb and less than 100 kb.
Size of the signature image must be greater than 5 kb and less than 20 kb. Dimension of photograph image should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm(Height) only. Dimension of signature image should be 3.5 cm(length) x 1.5 cm(Height) only.
Edit before saving the data
MAHCET 2015 aspirant should check the data filled in the application form. In case of any correction, you can edit the same and make necessary corrections to it. Once the data is saved, you will not be allowed to change the same.
Pay the application fee
Late Registration fee for all Category Candidates from Maharashtra State (MS), Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates and NRI/Foreign Nationals / PIO/Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf Countries Candidates is Rs 1000/- in addition to the regular registration fee.
It implies, if you were supposed to pay Rs 1000/- as regular registration & Application fee till Feb 27, now you would have to shell out Rs 2000/- as registration fee till March 2, 2015.
For Candidates of Backward Class Categories SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only the registration fee will be Rs 1800/- ( Rs 800/- regular registration fee and Rs 1000/- towards late registration fee) till March 2, 2015.
Payment facility
Application form processing fee can be paid at any Axis Bank Branch in cash through e-challan during the working hours of the respective Branches. No additional charges will be payable in case the payment is made through e-challan at any branch of Axis Bank.
The candidate can also make online payment of the fees by Internet Payment, Credit Card/ Debit Card payment gateway for which the service charges, as per rules, shall be applicable in addition to the application form processing fees. No other mode of payment shall be permitted.
The applicable service charges as per RBI guidelines are as under-
Credit Card: 1.80% of the application fee plus service tax as applicable.
Debit Card: 0.75% of the application fee plus service tax as applicable.
Internet Banking:1.80% of the application fee plus service tax as applicable
Convenient online payment gateway
Payment by Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking: The candidate has to select Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking option to pay the application fee and follow the online instruction to complete the payment of fee. After successful payment, candidate will be able to print the Application Form.
Payment by Bank e-challan: The candidate has to select e-challan option to deposit the application fee through e-Challan mode. As soon as he/she selects, an e-Challan will be generated containing specific details of the candidate along with amount to be paid.
The candidate has to take a printout of the same and take it to the nearest branch of the Axis bank for making payment. After the confirmation of fee deposited from Bank/DTE, the candidate will be able to print the Application Form.
Know the exam pattern & dates
MAHCET 2015 for admission to MBA/MMS batch 2015-17 will be held on March 14 & 15, 2015 across the country in more than 60 cities. The exam will be online and will have duration of 150 minutes. The exam will have 200 MCQs divided in 3 sections of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension; Quantitative Aptitude –Data interpretation; Logical and Abstract reasoning.
