Earlier CAT exams used to announce well in advance the exact date of result declaration and the CAT result used to be declared in the wee hours on the designated date. This feature goes missing since TCS has taken over as testing agency for CAT exam. Last year also, declaration of CAT result got delayed by a week. CAT 2015 test takers are worried lest the same phenomenon is repeated this year also.
Surprisingly, CAT Centre 2015 mentions in its advertisement for CAT 2015 ‘The CAT results will be declared by 2nd week of January, 2016’. It implies that the result should be declared in the start of Second week of January 2016 instead of in the middle of the week. But until and unless the exact date of the result declaration is announced, it may not be possible to know the same and the anxiety on probable delay in CAT 2015 result declaration will continue to persist among the IIM aspirants.

CAT 2015 result declaration is expected in the 2nd week of January 2016 but there in no announcement of exact date of result declaration, although less than 2 weeks remain to the second week of January 2016.
