The blocked Admit card for CMAT 2016 which created panic among the candidates appears to have been released after resolving the technical glitch. Now the CMAT 2016 admit card has been sent to the mail IDs of all the CMAT 2016 aspirants by AICTE. However, AICTE has also claimed that the CMAT 2016 Admit Card is also available for download on the portal.

It has been a nightmare for the CMAT 2016 aspirants who continued waiting for the release of CMAT 2016 admit card since January 5, 2016, the committed date to issue the Admit Card. But there was no admit card on the day and AICTE promised to issue the same from January 9 onwards. But it did not happen and the CMAT 2016 admit card was blocked by AICTE due to technical glitches occurred at its end. None of the candidates were able to download the admit card.

Later realizing the gravity of the issue, issued a notice “Admit card of valid candidates will be sent to their registered email ID on or before 14th Jan'16. Please contact helpdesk if you do not receive your Admit Card by then.”

Only 3 days are left for the annual CMAT 2016 which will be held on January 17, 2016 in a single session across the country.

Candidates are now worried whether the maiden annual CMAT 2016 can be held by AICTE in a smooth and glitch free environment or it is also going to be a problem for them as it will also be a computer based test.

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) will be conducting the CMAT 2016 a National Level Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) to select suitable students for admission in management programmes for academic year 2016-17.  Since 2016, CMAT will no longer be twice a year exam as it used to be. There was no first CMAT 2016 in September 2015 and the testing process has become a yearly exercise now. There wouldn’t be an opportunity to improve your scores in second CMAT incase the first CMAT does not award you good scores. As such you may not be able to send in your 2 scores for consideration of the better one at the B school from now onwards.

No Hard copy
AICTE will not be sending any hardcopy of the CMAT 2016 Admit card to your registered address. Hence you are required to download the admit card from your registered mail id and take prints of the Admit Card and carry the same to the testing venue on the test day.
