Placement at IMI Delhi did not see much change except for the fact that more recruiters visited IMI campus for recruitment and more offers were made by the BFSI sector. According to Prof Subir Verma, Dean, placements, IMI “except for the firms in BFSI sector overall number of offers per company declined”.
The placement process at IMI began in the first week of January 2014 and was over in the third week of January 2014. The placement although began a little late than many other very good B schools, it got over in about a fortnight.
Key Trends in placement 2014
IMI has a consistent record of excellent placement. 38 more students sought placement in 2014 in comparison to 2013. Out of the total batch size of 220 students, 209 students sought placement in 2014 whereas in placement 2013, 171 out of the batch of 176 students sought placement at International Management Institute, Delhi.
Rise in Number of recruiters
19 more recruiters visited IMI campus in 2014 in comparison to placement 2013. While there were 61 companies in 2013, 2014 saw 80 companies visiting the campus for recruitment.
Placement 2014; highest and median salary
The highest salary offered at IMI Delhi stood at Rs.16 lakhs whereas the median salary was Rs.8 lakhs. According to Prof Subir Verma ‘the package offered by companies as compared to last year did not see much change’

Out of 80 companies, the top recruiters at International Management Institute included Adidas India, Asian Paints, ADP India, Axis Bank, Bank of America Continuum, Barclays, Capgemini, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, GE Capital, HT Media, JPMorgan, Maruti Suzuki, Mother Dairy, Ranbaxy, RPG, HSBC, Trident Group
